We’ve been here before, with less bloat, better extension and less peaks (for a WHOLE lot less money). I seriously doubt that those DDs are doing anything magical to make this work.

It sounds as bad as it graphs, actually even worse because the coupler doesn’t care about the awkward fit one might get (or not at all) in the ears.

Damn, sad to report that the left side of my QKZxHBB has died. I’m crushed - it was my walk around set for nearly a month. Probably put about 25 hours on them before it went. I guess the next step is to try and take the grill + filter off to see if it’s the actual driver or just the filter being all gunked up.
If the driver is actually dead, I’ll probably buy another pair and take my chances, they’re a damn good set. Luckily, picked up another pair of Rosefinchs from @GooberBM to hold me over.

I should get an Olina SE, I have the original and also a Kai and pleased with both sets. I think I may prefer the Kai better for the way it fits me and how it works with a large part of my library, but I do also appreciate the better detail and balance from the Olina. They’re both good IMO.
