Maybe? Smart move. I was happy to hear same $$ same driver polished tuning. That is a good recipe
yes, glad they did that. Do you know when it is coming out? Any changes to driver config or just better tuned?
Better tuning before 11/11 is all I know so far.
INTERESTING! Please keep me posted on how you like the fh3!
Loving it thus far, Iām waiting for iii to return my 2.5 IEmatch as it broke, but thus far the fh3 sounds great running 2.5 Hart cables on my QP2R.
Having a really weird and infuriating problem with the QP2R though, as soon as I put it in my pocket it randomly restarts and sometimes factory resets the setting also. Really weird.
The fh3 is great, I was expecting a tad bigger soundstage though as well as slightly more sparkle. I donāt know what it was but, of course itās a great sounding IEM with very nice bass etc, it didnāt blow me away. All the hype had me expecting to think wow but I just thought nice.
I probably shouldnāt have set my expectations so high. Theyāre still awesome though
for me the wow effect is in the bass speed/quality,
my library is full of quick double pedal metal songs,
iām instantly feeling sick listening back to my tin t2+,
even though I really love it a month ago,
bonus:
*use an eq, add a stupid amount of bass,
listen to this, instant eargasm:
those driver could take an unlimited eq without any distortion,
Good lord that sounded amazing on a P1 EQāed with +6db bass region. Lovely biaural sound simulation.
Thatās a pretty cool recording. Just listened to it on my Monolith M300sā¦man, these things image better than I remembered, but the bass was not as crazy as Iām sure it was supposed to be.
I think that was most of our experiences lol.
Sucks about ur QP2R thing tho, that{s crazy annoying. specially if it factory resets oof! And the soundstage on the fh3 is actually pretty wide for me! Altho i guess because its an iem i honestly dont expect much of soundstage nor care about it. And interesting about the sparkle, i guess i could see what u mean but personally i found it surprisingly sparkly. But very nice to know that ur enjoying em!
Nobody has held a final version of the P2.
Iām not recāing it until I hear the final versionā¦obviously. Just to be clear.
If you can only pick one IEM under 200 usd, what would it be?
Sony N3AB used or Sony XBA-A2 New or BLON 03 XBA-A2 is a classic
Sony has done right by me, if I were to snag one which do you think goes well with or is impressive to you like the 800st? I love that set and will be dipping toes into some sony goodness going forward if I can help it LOL
Probably the N3 as I find the EX800ST (EQ) to be better than the A2. Been interested in the N3 myself, but prices are getting higher and higher, so not sure I want it. But I am liking what Sony has done considering that both the A2 and the EX800ST are very old now.
so are some of us
I mean they are still competing against stuff being released in 2020. Test of time? No contest lol, passed it with flying colors.
Same boat, and agreed. If good thereās enough low end for some actual slams, and it can keep up with deathcore double bass, I call that a huge win.
Plus they take to EQ really well in my experience, if anyone finds the bass underwhelming they can just bump it up.
let me introduce you to this,
Make Them Suffer - Neverbloom
brutal riff and vocal, mix with a beautiful piano and amazing lyric, 6 minutes of a total bliss.
god I really love music,
my setup:
Flac on my pc,
Tidal master/hifi on the go,
phone - btr5 - fh3 - faaeal balance copper cable - xelastec eartips, need a slight bass boost to get a warmer tone,
sounds better with my Nx4dsd, more bass impact and slightly bigger stage,
Haha Iāve been a MTS fan for years. Their new album kinda blows but oh well.
I run through a Monoprice THX 788 desktop amp, it has built in EQ adjustment which I make use of at all times. I aim for flac but donāt stress it if I can only get 320 files. I just use an iphone set to the ārockā EQ setting when Iām on the go. I really donāt try to maximize performance with portable listening, āgood enoughā is usually the aim there.
