used fiio q1mk2 @ 72$ vs new fiio btr 5 @ 122$ which one would you choose?
The BTR5 is a tiny bit more powerful (has 20 more mw in balanced) and also has bluetooth. I say if you dont need/use bluetooth at all the Q1MK2 is a better value for you. But if you use bluetooth, the BTR5 is one of the best bluetooth dac/amps out there.

Any impressions on the Fearless Tequila? I find a Fearless hybrid intriguing. I’m hopeful.
Sounds unique. Like the Roland. Will be a rec for specific people. Maybe not an all arounder

Well they’ve certainly got the presentation aspect down. Damn. Looking forward to sound impressions.
Are they basically just a retuned Helios with a different grille and cable, or is it a different driver altogether? They look nearly identical other than the grille.
This is a Beryllium driver. it is audible. cleaner/faster mids, no haze like I picked up on Helios which was pretty much a PET mylar

so the shuoer tape 2 are coming soon… i hope because i actually think with the sound i like (pretty V shape with a emphasis on the bright side and heavy). i would need a shuoer tape as my next IEM
I am very stoked about that set. No price hikes, tweak tuning a bit and yeah…I am waiting for that
