Man thanks for the track/artist rec. Never heard of them and I’m really diggin’ it on the Glamdring. Can’t wait until tomorrow to see what it sounds like in the car setup.
Then it’s decided…
I need a big set that slams hard.
Totally…missing the mark. This is Chifi and that is understandable
If it is simply a Thie project just go with that as they are known all…around…the world
(That feeling in your gut…the confusion…is cuz you in fact got it wrong)
ZiiGaat will make stuff across price tiers from premium (way more pricey than thie tribrids) to budget and midfi.
They already do…you just don’t know what sets they OEM/ODM
Give yourself +2 pts for having that gut feeling/confusion…cuz you were wrong but you were right too
Glad you like it Mercules is pretty sick didn’t know the other one before either
How are they?
Honestly kind of confusing to me because they seem to cater to that casual iPod touch crowd that I don’t really think exists now and seem to be lack features audiophiles want?
Oh, I just loaded music on it
Yeah ipod died long time ago
I guess how much power it has and price will determine if anyone buys it.
Just having a bit of fun observing is all, didn’t mean anything by it
I just hope you guys managed to keep the price under a grand, or hell under $700-$600 dollars if one can truly dream
Monarch mk3 pricing bro
But competitive bro, so somewhere below $1,000
Ests are very costly. There’s 4 in that set, you looking at almost 400$ right there.
Btw @hawaiibadboy
I predicted the price long time back on redeyes discord
We don’t know if it will be near the $999 mark for sure yet, so we might still be surprised
There’s no way a single EST driver costs $100. That sounds like something someone on discord said and showed an AliExpress screenshot and everyone just believed it. Keep in mind if you’re from Asia you can generally source and bargain parts at at least half price whatever price AliExpress shows us outside Asia.
It’s 8 ests with transformers (I think there’s 2 per transformer or 4) if you count each side, also need to account for r&d and possible driver failures, repairs, replacements for that particular driver during the run, so it does add up more later on. I remember the price probably in SGD but the real price isn’t that far off, ests are expensive asf, one of the reasons I never worked with that on my iem.
Ah, shit, yeah, my bad. Wasn’t taking into account it’s TWO sets of 4 ESTs. My bad, around $50 could definitely be right. So, yeah, it’ll have to be an expensive set. Ah well.
