 I love the voices for the different characters!

Edit: I bet Kai gets some good bedtime stories!

:joy: I can do 100 characters with same voice…it will become a gag with Kai that Daddy is a 1 trick vocal pony

You went from clearing up the meaning to your post initially to then editing the post and just being sarcastic with a gif.

Nice. I’ll just step away here. Best of luck, Chris.

(Note; the graph lies because it doesn’t show the effect of the BC driver. It is apparently not bright as graph suggests but rather a warm neutral.)

Bqeyz Wind (10mm LCP DD + 10mm BC) is getting quite stellar reviews on Head Fi from some notable names. A midcentric set with a rich, full yet transparent midrange to die for (relative to its price) with stand-out bass presence & huge stage 3D stage thanks to its open back nature. Very similar to Raptgo but dynamic driver instead of Planar and higher end BC driver.

What I find particularly interesting about Bqeyz Wind is that the Bone Conducting Driver it uses isn’t a Piezo type but rather a copper voice coil type, and it uses it for bass up to midrange (like Unique Melody) rather than treble (like it’s predecessor Winter) or fullrange like Raptgo,

I very much liked the Raptgo but couldn’t quite deal with the Piezo zing that the BC driver tainted the treble with. Also I found the mids a bit pushed back and hazy for lack of a better word, possibly also due to Piezo zing.

I actually agree with this take. :call_me_hand:
I liked the combo but it did give the fatigue inducing ring that nearly all sets have aside from Quintet though I don’t recall if that had a piezo but it had everything else.

I will no doubt check the WIND out. I have a decent relationship with them and loved the magnet filter system they used on Autumn

Any sensation?
The UM sets have almost no pinna but sound almost shouty so it definitely works and a guy Discord and myself have measured em…is the WIND giving low end vibes?

Apologies, I should have clarified that I don’t yet own this IEM and have not yet heard it, but I placed an order 2 hours ago.

According to reviews, of which there are ~5, it is extremely successful in the bass. This BC and dynamic driver are of unusually high quality and supposedly blend together seamlessly without strange timbre clashes found in planar or piezo drivers.

A few reviewers mention that the BC driver in this set gives a strong visceral physical feeling to the bass, and is keeping up perfectly with the DD.

I realize I’m coming off as a paid shill but I’ve been in this IEM have for quite some time and this set peaked my jaded interested so I wanted to give it some attention.

My main set is OG MiM Dark Magician so I know what good midrange sounds like and how important it is, so the Wind being described as a midcentric set with immense stage just got me riled up!

No prob, I think Tone Deaf Monk @ToneDeafMonk has that set. He might be one of the impressions you read. I’ll be grabbing a set myself :call_me_hand:

Here is another good review of it:

Found a sound demo comparing Bqeyz Wind, Bqeyz Winter & Kiwi Ears Quintet against source.

Winter sounds like a joke, Quintet quite good and Wind noticeably better than the source!
(take the demo with a grain of salt of course)

I listened to the Wind yesterday, on first impressions was the Bass is fantastic, BC really works if ypu can get a good fit,
I neede smaller very short tips to make that work think Whizzer Easytips SS20

The upper mids 2.5k was giving me some shoutiness on some songs so hopefully it calmes down.

Warmer source , and maybe a tuning filter may be required for treble sensitive people. But stage is excellent semi open back style.

You can knock down the highs with some Olina style mesh filters 500 and 2 500 shown for comparison.

I’m super intrigued by the comments about EA1000’s upper range being bright or needing to be controlled, and I’ve heard mentions of the Wind have a very good upper end.

I’m very interested in hearing the EA1000 first, to form my own opinion. But then also maybe hear Wind down the road, to see what it’s like and if I buy into the thoughts

EA1000 seems absolutely impeccably tuned, while Wind might offer extra special sauce since it’s open back with really good BC driver.

I went with Wind. Now I just gotta wait few weeks…

You do not reserve any rights once you take the money…to backtrack on total BS claims.
You could just send a line of instruction to the 3D printer and actually use the radiator.
Using a PR for pressure relief and lower low freq??? That’s one way to explain a bonkers fail at a 50 year old concept
