It’s a good cable abit overpriced but it’s shiny!
I’m the godfather of the Simgot hype train and I’m watching everybody but me play with the shiny new toy! Which good for you all, of course! Not jealous at all
Yeah Goob’s full credit you were OG Shill and were right. Thanks for that.
Dam, f Covid, hope you and your fam get better soon Chris
Stay warm out there man it was -40 degrees here a few days ago almost froze my fingers off getting the mail lol
And ya that cable’s a real looker - quality is superb, not sure if it’s overpriced or not since I’m not into cables, but it feels very classy
I just grabbed the Canpur CPBA7.
This company knows their shit.
They do.
Never heard of em till a few …2 months ago and bam…
Amazing IEM. I have another set but I can believe the CPBA7 is a beast
Ready to buy a flagship set…
Can’t find one interesting enough to buy…
Man…I was wincing listening to your monologue…I feel bad for you bro
I’m guessing you can’t even play with your son…my neighbor goofin around with her son
Blue dream…great track…Vai and Zappa very special to me
Not heard enough of Yngwie’s work. I plan to correct that error.
McCarthyism……
Frank has a special place…RIP warrior
Wow, that cable looks very similar to one of the options I am considering for my stock included cable! I do like it a lot…
The wine dude nailed it…had to give him a thumbs up…
You know what would be funny…a vid with all your outtakes…I always wait for after the end of comedies to see if they play outakes …I love them…sometimes funnier than the movie itself…like at the end of 'The Hangover ’ or any Burt Reynolds movie
Actually when I think about it…the end of Hangover wasn’t really outakes…probably filmed for it or maybe didn’t make the cut…I don’t know…so I’m just gonna hang out with your daughter
Vision Ears VE 10 is interesting?
Edit: This was a reply to @John_W_Clark’s post (unclear if it is showing that way on the page)
And I hazard to go further in saying there just isn’t enough on the low end a lot of time to me when listening to Live Rock performances (also applies to classical). I seem to gravitate to such tracks almost as a reference genre for some reason.
For example, in this track which I often return to when getting a new IEM:
Kickdrums and guitars being more forward is how I would perceive it if I were there in real life. There are also dreamy air frequencies that will inevitably need a little more focus because the information is there and requires it to sound more life like (at least to me). Around 5:50 you notice the air and crowd start to come alive…Isn’t that…audiophile too? It needs more sub bass (and air) then I see mosts sets give…
Don’t shoot me, experienced audiophiles…I’m just speaking my truth and wondering if it’s the real truth…
I hesitate to write this to be honest (Chris’s last vid has given me a little more confidence) because reviews I watch laud over the “crazy” bass shelf on the maestro’s but I’m always like is it actually a crazy indulgence? Arguably, The grand maestro tuning (if not scarlet’s) would be closer to lifelike experience to me in the specific case of live rock performance - these are smaller drivers whether its 7mm or 10mm after all, surely they need a little more boost over the 5db harman safe space that chifi refuses to leave.
In-vis-ible air-waves crackle with life
Bright antennas bristle with the energy
Sorry couldn’t help myself, guilty pleasure
Fixed this for you my friend
they look like turbos
