May I recommend the Victoria Requiem 1605. CD. The first time I heard the opening track was on Classic FM, and it made me pull the car over and stop whilst I finished listening to it.

DD 14.2mm finally arrived after a month(delays were most likely due to New Year holidays) usually it takes 3 weeks to get from China to Russia).
This driver is insane! It plays the bass well! My fingers literally shake and feel the punk from the drum! It can handle 400mwatt at 32ohm!
The headphone case will be ready in a few days 13.2mm Planar driver + DD and also Iec711 is coming to measure it all.

Ah bro, I think you should have asked me before ordering. I had same dd once, diaphragm is very good paper n carbon fiber iirc, I had it, the surround is very weak tho and magnet strength is also a bit weak, but it should suffice, be very careful when installing.

My supplier does this dd, I’ll try asking if they can make changes to it. This one feels more powerful than the beryllium one i use in hand. The BE plated that i have the diaphragm is soft, it pops back after you press into it, but the black one is stiff and firm, can punch into my hand when I run the sine wave for 20Hz tone, I like that feeling.
Only problem is… once you dent the black one, there’s no way to reshape it 
Idk what material is the surround and the glue that holds the dd down, if i can get them to redesign that part and have the surround be LSR (liquid silicone rubber) and upgrade the magnets to n54. It would be the best dd i suppose…

Well, judging by the description in my driver there is an NdFeB N52 Magnet, do you think there is a big difference with the N54?
I’m of the assumption that stronger magnets means more strength/force of movement
That inner chamber GREATLY reminds me of that of the Z1R.
