I’d disagree, they’ve probably saved a lot bands hearing compared to stage monitors and I can’t see why loud Speaker listening v’s loud HP listening v’s loud IEM listening is any different…too loud is too loud

Interesting. So does that unpleasant feeling that loud high frequencies give not directly correlate to damage?
If that’s the case, you could argue that low frequencies are more dangerous, because they don’t trigger the “auto safety system” even at loud frequencies.

Kids copy all our habits…good and bad.
I picked up the plastic chain and was checking if it was a choke hazarz
I suddenly felt like a pro wrestler and Kai was watching so I raised the chain over my head and dropped in hard and flexed

I don’t know how much kids can catch at 14 months old…
Yesterday, he was reading a book. Recently when I say “Papa” he looks at me and says “Mama”
It kinda got not funny.
So I stopped saying “papa”.
For 3 days… no in my face “mamma” cuz I let it go…not funny.

So, yesterday while he was reading a book I said to my wife, he’s been chill with that recently so Ima just move along.
I left the word “Papa” out so he wouldn’t know.
He walks over to his table stands on it (which is a no no)
And stares at me…
He then says “MAMA”
climbs down and goes back to his book.

How the fuck did he know?
Can he understand enough to glean the topic wihout the subject?

He did it this morning but jumped in my arms and laughed loudly like he got over it or realized it’s not funny?
