Hey Chris, if I may ask, how do you compare the E500 to the Galileo? Specially for strings and Electronic music (don’t know if this last one is your thing).
I was thinking about getting a set next month or so and the Galileo was an interesting one, but this E500 video kinda got me shaky.
For music reference, I would say: Daft Punk “Contact” around 3:30 with the “distortion that looks like UFO”. Also the zither solo during Rodrigo y Gabriela “Ixtapa” on the Area 52 album, I believe around 2:40.

I find it absolutely fascinating how granular those of us in the hobby can be about specific sections of songs and how the IEMs can replay that to our satisfaction. Kinda reminds me of those into granular calibration with flat screen TVs

Did you happen to get any irritation with them with any spinfit tips at all?
I’d take EA500 for same reason I said Thrash and Death metal (or heavy metal) would do great. Not overly emphasized treb and good extension. Balanced low end to not impede on mids at all.
No, not with CP100 but that set of tips never bother me. Some tips need a bigger leftside tip than right side
