Bad Guy Good Audio Rankings and stuff (under construction) (Part 2)

That thing looks absurd, I love it.

I love the looks. Fit is same as EA500. Looks huge but not really.

I’m very glad you tried this and I appreciate your honest opinion on it. I still wanna put my own ears on it, because I did actually like EN1000, which shares the profile and tuning plugs with EA2000.

But I agree with you that EA2000 is not going to be a set that clicks with people like EA500. Funny though, the fact that it has such a unique graph makes me want to try it, not talk me out of it

I played with mine after vid.
It has no dampening in front of driver. So…it got some from me and I enjoy it quite alot :notes: :v:

So what do you need to physically do? Just changing the filter on the nozzle?

Take off screen and put tuning foam into nozzle
I can post pics tomorrow.
It is behind screen so you cannot see it
The one in pic was already done but cannot tell

Question answered :heart::pray::beer::-1:

knew it, it has potential after mods!

you tried blocking the bass radiator vent and see if the bass gets reduced by that?

Totally can be fixed with tuning but it’s still pricey. I thought the different ends also made tuning changes?

If they work like the other Simgot, then its a gimmick.

Passive radiator v’s Bone conductor… gimmick’s or just over thinking shit/re-inventing the wheel :man_shrugging:

Not really a gimmick if the implementation is good.

I have the EN1000 and you hear a treble attenuation difference. It is not just a gimmick. Whether you like it or not is different, but it does work

it looks gimmicky af on graphs though, but if thats different irl then I give it to you.

Of the three plugs they have, two of them are the stock black (one in 3.5 and one in 4.4) and the other is like the blue plug in EN1000 (the moderate treble) and not the red (smoother treble) plug. Honestly, like HBB did, you’ll get a bigger change in doing a physical mod. But I am curious to see how the red plug that I do have would play with the EA2000.

But still, bringing the upper-midrange down with modding is the more efficient way to make meaningful change

No, I don’t want to block a passive driver cuz the bass is excellent. Just too much energy 5-9Khz roughly

Sounds like a pretty easy fix too bad 99% of buyers won’t be willing to mess with screens nozzles EQ ect…

Once modded worth a serious look still?

I am enjoying it a lot right now as I type but new tweak bias (pleased with myself ) or legit…cannot say till a couple days.
