Man HBB was right about the Simgot EA500s These are an awesome set, just got them yesterday, and boy do they have a lovely presentation. Yes (Roundabout), Sultans of Swing, Boston (Freeplay longtime), any Rush song, Billie Eilish (Bad Guy)…all sound fantastic. Check them out if you can. Awesome construction, a comfortable fit, and two tunings.

I’m awaiting my Galileos but I just got my EA500s and I just listened to both of the songs you listed as well as other Daft Punk and they all sounded fantastic, with impressive details.

Had a somewhat heavy week at work, but would like to take the time to thanks Chris (@hawaiibadboy) and @Dwood for the input. Tooling the time to listen to the music and evaluating is very nice of you guys and I appreciate it. I’m looking at the EA500 right now, just gotta solve some stuff in the few next weeks.
Dwood if you can share comparisons to the Galileo also I would be even more thankful.

Piezo are fuzzy, non-precise transducers seemingly by nature. They do have an alluring sense of immediacy and snap however.
Ultimately, I don’t think they’re the way to go unless someone figures out how to utilize the tech better.

If you want an oddball set under $20 check out the JBL Endurance Run.
A wildly solid set for exercise, outdoor stuff, bad weather commute, etc.
A great choice for less-than-ideal conditions, and comfortable too.
I’ve only seen @ByStephenJones and @ZeosPantera do reviews which surprises me with how good they are for a beater set.

You should try the Intime Sora light, best implemented piezo by far imo.
Should be easy for you to buy it in Japan.
