Yep, contacted them twice and no response from the last time. Bought directly from their websire on July 28th. Didn’t upgrade to the more expensive shipping, so there is that. Also didn’t get anything extra, besides 4.4mm, just wanted the IEM.
It’s not the end of the world, considering everything that’s going on, but they won’t see my money again, even though it doesn’t seem like they need more money haha.
The IEM seems to be awesome, but if they planned to use the Deuce to bring more people as customers, I think they failed miserably.
Fortunately for them, and unfortunately for others, Personal Audio Math’s work different.
The amount of “regular” users on Head fi are also on Discord, Facebook and Reddit.
It’s literally the same couple hundred daily actives surfing one to the other.
If poor Customer service was the death knell it should be, Moondrop woulda died in 2020/21. Thie woulda crumbled in it’s 1st year.

Reviewers have been marginilizing themselves with memes, seller bias and wavering takes on collabs that match the seller bias.
Impact is dwindling and Sellers are more comfortable with doing it themselves, are they bias? They see and know reviewers are so why should they hesitate? They are not anymore and that is going to be the slow death of the post Covid boom.
I have talked about this behind the scenes and embrace it.

I ordered mine July 24th and nothing. I don’t even know if the tracking number works.
Some have speculated that a dip around 10-10.5k can create an illusion of depth.
I don’t think that is why we are seeing it more, though.

I used to be a musician for a solid chunk of my life. But then the joy of it slipped away, and I stopped playing or even listening to it much. This joy was reinvigorated as I accidentally discovered the world of IEM hobby, and I am so grateful it happened.
My first set was QKZxHBB, and fast forward a few other IEMs I arrived at what I enjoy the most today as it immerses me like no other set, which is Tangzu HeyDay.
I am very grateful to you, Chris, for these two especially, and to your reviews and all the wonderful people in the comments who helped me big time with my decisions. For the love of music.
And now for the less joyful part, as I share a frustrating FatFreq experience with you. Let me say that I’m very sorry to hear that you all have been stuck in that limbo. I hope your Deuces arrive soon.
I didn’t know anything about customer service at FF direct, so just a few days ago I ordered a Deuce from their website. However, just a mere half a day later my personal circumstances suddenly and unexpectedly changed, so I had to cancel the order and messaged the support to figure out any options. It’s been three days now with zero response neither in live chat nor to my emails. And that’s when I started to research other people’s experiences as I had no idea.
I know that many of you have had the same or even worse and longer experience, and I feel for you. I’ve never had such a baffling case of a company ignoring its customers to the point that zero response is given, not even the tiniest. But of course, the payment process went oh so smoothly.
Granted, I’ve never had to cancel a purchase so suddenly, but honestly thought (before researching what’s going on) that my prompt message to them would help, as obviously the order processing didn’t go any further for now as they don’t even provide a proper payment receipt.
I guess I’ll have to somehow work around my unexpected circumstances and hope for any resolution. I do hope though that they reach out and help in any way. Life happens.
The upside though is that I discovered this forum lol. Thank you all for reading, my best wishes to you.
