Everyone here sympathized with your Fatfreq plight (though perhaps not on every single comment made on it - apologies) and I haven’t seen any regulars defend Fatfreq as they are patently wrong regarding Deuce, ethically suspect elsewhere and shit at basic business functions. My advice to any people like that is the same - do you have the competence & CAPACITY to deliver, don’t try and run before you can walk & in fact perhaps don’t run a company yourself - look at your partners and colleagues through business competence eyes before saddling up with them - then go bring your creative or technical skills to work for someone that can do those things as they are very different skillsets and not everyone is cut out for it. But if anyone does decide to try reap the rewards of ownership then they are liable for their fuck ups and here Fatfreq have a lot of fucking up to answer for without any customer leniency as they made these choices - in fact they kept making bad choices over and over again.

Personally, I didn’t bother ordering the Deuce from Fatfreq as I don’t think presales in the audio world nearly ever go well and issues in this circumstance seemed almost inevitable given your previous situation with them and similar delays reported by multiple people. Not to mention this being their most ambitious project which would likely attract multiples of their previous order highs, at a lower pricing point, attached to an effective marketing partner where they clearly did not have the facilities.

But that comment to you at 2 months of your waiting wasn’t really news to you - not only had you already been through this once before (and still ordered again) but also in your own words

Better include @hawaiibadboy to that list, even though his seemingly sage words, we now know wouldn’t have helped as Fatfreq will try most anything to not cancel an order (even when they charge to do so).
