Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

I wonder if the midrange comes out in the DX1 as it does in the Shanling Tino. It becomes more musical, but when listening quietly, I prefer the V tuning.

you should review the Omega IEM by alpha omega, id love to see it ranked @hawaiibadboy

I was told that a set was coming in March. I was told that in February. Nothing came. I coulda bought it 8 weeks ago :frowning:

I think I’ll just skip that company. Wasting time and time is money :moneybag:

Speaking of time

Playing Mom and Dad for a while. Hectic but  every minute of it :raised_hands:

Managed to train a little this morning. Keep missing deadlift day because of travelling for work so I decided to do some this morning. Unfortunately my form started to break when it started to get heavy because I felt a little beat up and felt that my left arm was sore. Must’ve done something to it renovating the house yesterday.

I thought fat steak would heal me!

There will be more than enough reviewers hyping it up, I’m sure. Might be a good one to use for listening to DIS tracks, though (I’ll see myself out now…)

Tour groups for the win…I mean loss.

Lots of folks who can never pay 2,3,4,5 thousand fucking dollars giving opinion without that… oh so critical
“Holy fuck, what have I done? this is no better than my fave 350 set”
The folks charging 500% markup get free advertising
The folks who praise it…never feel that “Oh…nooooooo” pain

Just read a person saying a big money cable is a gotta have for any big money stable
No it’s not
STFU dude

Random 5am doompost:

Does anyone know if Sonion and Knowles assemble their stuff in China or the US?
The whole tariff thing might cause an even bigger uptick in the ‘custom’ BA drivers used in iem’s. It’s not gonna stop people from buying them. We’ve seen that much already. Using branded drivers may also end up being an excuse for an even more exhorbitant pricetag for what you would normally get.
A spitroast scam if you will.

Both.
Mostly built in China.

Most, aside from a handful of “Boutique” nose bleed brands
have very very close ties with China.
Empire Ears and Jerry Harvey migrated most of the Supply chain to China but J.H. moved too slow, Campfire Audio moved fast. E.E. essentially needs joint releases

Trump just assured an already tough task (Being Made in USA)…is pretty much impossible.

Europe protects their businesses a lot more though they tax folks haaard.
They do protect businesses better than America.

Most “Flagship” stuff is China.

Which means the only and last hurdle is perception.
That a set like Valhalla is any less impressive than a boutique set.
Drivers
components
QA/QC
Innovation
Just the “Made in China” is an issue.
That’s odd…considering.

Particularly curious to hear what your thoughts are on this one. Michael Bruce did a review on his unit and said it is basically a copy of the Dark Magician v2. Seeing that the people behind TIgerism also made the DM, it is really odd that they would reissue the one that wasn’t embraced by the community.

If it’s a Dark Magician V2 clone, it’s hardly worth the discussion. We are now placing our hopes on Michael Bruce’s Anomaly!

Yeah, that kind of blanket censorship was rough! especially when all you’re doing is sharing a personal experience. There’s definitely a line between stopping misinformation and just silencing people, and it felt like platforms were still figuring that out in real time… often pretty clumsily might I add…as if they were doing it on purpose…

Solid family time with the little on is the most important for forming precious memories for the kid!

Yeah he is growing in all ways by the day. Literally everyday is a new phrase or emotion or expression unlocked.
This is pretty epic

Looks like that’s the case. Too early to give any opinions but if same driver a similar tuning as OG was where that driver was shining.
