Never bombarding any customer support, and stopped here too after a few far apart messages a while back.
Any public update would go a long way, no matter the content.
As you mentioned, other companies went through growing pains too. And this community is very understanding.

Wanted to drop by to say I was uncertain that the Deuce would bring my collection anything new after having gotten the ThieAudio Origin. I can safely say both the Deuce and the Origin are staying 
Beautiful work, Chris! And the blood cable is no joke either - probably the most supple cable Iāve had to date. It was worth waiting for this!

Ah, thatās good to hear. The Origin was already firm at the top spot for my 11.11 purchase.
I donāt share the same opinion on the cable however. It looks absolutely fantastic and feels well constructed, but it feels pretty janky to use. Pretty memoryprone and alot of microphonics when youāre not playing music. I might end up replacing it.
But now that Iāve had more time with itā¦ Man I feel so conflicted about the entirety of it. Chris, you were 110% on the ball in terms of tuning. The Deuce will absolutely please the broad audience. This is FatFreqās breakout piece. Not the Scarlet mini, not the GM, but the Deuce. And they fucked it all up with completely failing at the logistics of it. Growing pains arenāt enough to cover that shitshow. I really hope they get their shit together or they might miss their chance at becoming a true industry leader. The talent is there.
For those still waiting, itās worth the wait. This could have been a $350 set and I would still be fine with it.

This set is great, just like you said in the reviewā¦and fixies the few issues I had with Monarch MK3 ā¦ which were a bit too V shaped for me .
Is this the biggest shell Thie has done so far ? :))) I only had 3 out of 5 (your top list for Thie) . The fit/confort for me is not greatā¦I am guessing due to the size/shape but not a big problem for listening up to one hour.

Got mine! Way earlier than I expected. Actually I was planning to order from Hangout once the mailing fiasco died down but a set popped up on the used market and I grabbed it. Apart from the red eartips stubbornly refusing to fit, Iām loving it so far!

15 days from Singapore to Spain (ordered on FatFreq site with standard shipping on July 24th).
Ended up costing 237 ā¬ (257 $) with shipping and taxes.
No extras in the box besides the impedance adapter.
Iām beginning to think that only those who contacted them to ask if they were among the first orders have received the extras, and that they havenāt really followed a strict order of orders.
Iām happy anyway, because I bought them for the excitement of a FatFreq with Chris collab, and they havenāt disappointed me.
They are just like Chris said: They hit like a truck and all my library sounds amazing with them.
Loving them so far.
Definitely a keeper for me.
Congrats Chris again, and thank you for your work and for helping to make this kind of stuff possible!

I donāt know if you can chuck this one to growing pains anymore. They seem have this reputation of delivering late. It leaves a bad impression because there is no reason this should happen due to increased price and the long period they took to plan this collab. Iām pretty sure they are seeing what people are saying but have choosen to not explain whatās going on and why there was no order (literally and figuratively) in shipping.

Ordered July 24 and tracking doesnāt work. I followed up but there was no reply (3x now). This will be my last comment on this since Iāve made my point. Please do not take your time to boost my individual case. If anything, I just want them to explain what happened, what became the issue, how itās moving forward and the lessons they learned. A lot to ask because it will require some humility from them but it is what will save their face.
BTW, none of this is on you HBB as the collaborator.
Edit: Knowing they bumped the price with an extra $30 something for shipping makes this disappointing. Excuses can be made if they were a virgin Kickstarter company with their launch product. That is not the case here.

This is probably the most āmakes senseā collab since that has been a thing and the only part that coulda been fucked was in fact fucked.
For every person happy with it, there are 100 that are waiting and pissed.
This hobby is emotionally driven and we donāt have benchmarks or objective data
so lets take that 1 thing (emotion) and fuck with it.

If any of you in the US are still waiting and happen to have an account on the USPS website, log in and check your Informed Delivery for incoming packages. I think mine may be coming Monday, forwarded through a shipping service called PirateShip.
Then again, this could be something totally different and a pure coincidence. Thereās no way for me to see any package info when I track it. Itās a bit of a shame I have to play private detective to find my own order, but thatās where we are. Iāll update if my suspicion is correct, and it gets delivered either Saturday or Monday.

I got a message from my FedEx account letting me know yesterday that FedEx had the package. I did not expect it today until I got a message this morning from FedEx and FatFreq saying it was out for delivery. I did not say anything about it until now because all it does is add anxiety for those still waiting. I know this because I was one of those people sitting clueless with a tracking number only but no package to go with it and every time someone would exclaim that they got their item it was like another twist of the screws. I am only posting this now to share my experience.
I ordered and received confirmation on July 24th while watching the anouncement video.
On August 26th I upgraded my 3.5mm cable to the 4.4mm cable and per the instructions I contacted FatFreq to let them know my order number so they could put it all together. When I did this, I also asked out of curiosity where I was in line and would ordering the cable upgrade change my position. Yeo replied back that I was in the first 150 and that ordering the upgrade would not change my position, and then asked me what my engraving preferences where. I let them know and then I got another reply letting me know they got my preference for the engraving and that I would hear back from them closer to shipping time.
On October 4th I received a message from Elli saying that unfortunately, it seems that now I am not in the first 150 orders but that they still wanted to honor their commitment to engraving but that the tin would just be plain with the FatFreq logo and would not have any HBB Deuce branding, and did I still want to use the same engraving request? I replied that would be fine.
On October 9th I got a message from Elli saying that they have arranged my engraving request and that the shipment had been collected by the forwarder and I should receive a tracking number with in a couple days. Funny thing was is that I already received a tracking number on October 8th ā but I chalked it up to time zone differences and left it at that.
I have mentioned (whined) several times that I had not received any notification for shipping /transit and that FedEx still informed me they have not yet receive the package ā This was true until yesterday @ 1:40am my local time where FedEx showed they had the package and it was in Japan.
The rest goes like this:
The Deuce arrived this afternoon pretty darn quick to be honest but again time zone difference matters so it had actually been moving for a day before I was notified, bonus.
I opened the package and I was relieved to see that the 4.4m upgrade cable was there along with the adapter but, there was no engraved metal tin, not even one without the Deuce brandingā¦
So I wonder WTF what was all the back n forth about the engraving and we made the arrangement etc. etc. then, it appears to just all have been happy talk with no real meaning behind it. AKA BullCrap.
To their credit I did get everything I paid for which was the Deuce itself, plus my upgraded 4.4m cable and the uplift of expedited shipping. So, no foul committed there. And honestly thatās all I originally expected and was owed, right?
All this other talk of youāre here in line so you get this, oh you get this too, and heck will throw this in tooā¦ Well that would have all been just bonus and was only paid for with emotion, that was eventually deflated anyway along with any brand trust.
The End of my experience and future experiences with FatFreq. Lesson Learned.
Too bad too, it seems they are capable of making a pretty nice IEM.
