I think it could benefit from higher sear temp and less pan time. But then I prefer my beef still moo’ing…

The conduction range is such garbage. i have to buy a weber grill for meat.

Not only does it not pack a punch but it speaks constantly in Japanese (the oven) for safety reasons i guess but i feel like I’m being nagged on by A.I. every time I cook.
“You turned the heat up”
“The left side is on”
“Do not touch the oven with your bare hands”
stfu-shut-up

Meat goes on fire
Electric powers my gears
Annoying robot ladies stfu while i am cooking

I feel you there; I hate modern cars and computers barking at me over what are typically normal decisions made in the process of whatever I’m doing with said contraption. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have your other appliances doing it as well.

Yeah, my mood is sideways after listening carefully because it is in Japanese and I’m being told not to touch the oven with my bare hand. While it under heats my expensive slab of meat.
I asked my Wife to turn it off or turn it down but you can’t
Ordered the Weber 30 minutes later. My father’s father’s great great grandfather could cook a proper steak but I’m in 2024 with latest tech…coping.
That was a crap and super weird end of the day.
My Oven killed my steak and my vibe.
1st World problems but still…fuck

^^^This is where the best steaks are made :wink.

I don’t know how this works for Wagyu (as I haven’t tried) but a grill-less method (though it does require some investment) that I love is sous vide. Sous vide, put in freezer, cast iron or oven broil to sear for less than a minute a side.

Different money shot, same method, thicker steak:

sous vide and sear, a perfect medium rare 100% of the time.
I doubt it would be great for extremely rich wagyus tho, you will have to let alot of that fat render away on the pan,I would usually then use it to make a decadent sauce for the veg or rice.

i dont think they are outright blaming the customer. More like making them aware of the sensitivities of the product and how to care for it, though if it was made clear before the products reached people or maybe a little card in the packaging suggesting how to care for the product or a warning.

Yeah, I was thinking that, too. May not work best for Wagyu. Probably best to just pan sear that.

Oh hell yeah !! I’ve been peep’n on 64 Audio sets, pretty sure I need one.

Would be nice to get your opinion/comparison of this vs the Prestige LTD.
I know they are differnt tech types. But just sayen’ if a cat was looking at Bloom Audio to get a Prestige LTD, or the Solo here that is at a similiar price point from 64Audio what would he put in a pro/con list for either set.

I was curious…

Pulling only perpendicular to the mount, fingers only, a little at a time, the cable was removed safely. At least everyone knows to be cautious now, that may prevent some future breakages.

Bleu Chaud is a true artform. I’m lucky enough to live fairly close to an old slaughthouse district. The slaughterhouses are gone, but the butcheries and meat restaurants remain. I can still get stuff that is otherwise dying out or considered morally challenged like bulls testicles (called Kings Balls here), Bonemarrow, chickenhearts and best of all Grasbuik, which is grassfed pony.

If you barely show the bulls testicles to the flame, would that be Bleu Balls?
