Thanks for the transparency in the video, man. Really, really hoping that the update “Everything is finally fixed, let’s go” happens wayyyy sooner than later for the Deuce.
Where do you get the gauze? So far as I can tell they’re actively making the wound worse; because Deuce being available for direct purchase with all the same “upgrades” as standard, as well as same price, for immediate purchase, from random retailers, before their own orders have been fulfilled, is just making pre-ordered look like complete clowns.
Mainly, I made the metaphor with the gauze from the card that they’re sending now with Re: cable/chipping issues. It doesn’t fully take care of the actual issues everyone is having (logistics, delivery, CX) - so until that’s kind of addressed, the wound is definitely getting bigger and worse.
Like Chris has mentioned, they’re extremely nice people. Like some of the nicest, friendliest and it all seems super genuine. But, it’s totally overshadowed by whatever is going on over there.
I have been following you for a long time and you have been pretty much the reason to why I made this blind buy. Having to purchase my very first Fatfreq product has been truly fruitful and I truly appreciate it.
My order was directly from FF, and probably was lucky to have received it on time. As you mentioned they are probably the nicest people and were pretty responsive to me when clarifying the impedance adapter. I really hope things work out well for them on the logistics aspect because I do expect a lot more from future Fatfreq products (P.S - another HBB collab as well xD) and also looking into their other models such as the Grand Maestro and Maestro Mini.
Surely hope that things are improving and they will sort their mail out soon, but it doesn’t seem like it at all.
They’re probably nice people, sure. But as the saying goes, - nice person is not a profession.
And amidst all this, they are… going to a conference? Those emails gonna wait another month or two, it’s fine, ez. While HBB is trying to fill the void of communication.
It’s wild!
It affected my personal circumstances. It’s distracting from music. It’s outright sad at this point.
Money is earned very hard. Very hard. And I get spit in my face for choosing to support someone I thought were passionate about their craft.
I understand the frustration—it’s hard when communication falls behind, especially with such a big investment. But I do feel like FatFreq is really working to address things and get back on track.
That’s precisely how you preserve a legacy. Also, if there’s one thing I remember not so fondly about the youngins is how fast they grow over clothing and shoes.
Guess Singapore Post wasn’t all that a delay afterall. Glad to see you receive them. Why is that they look a lot more appealing when they are freshly unpacked
Only had 5mins with them as ive just come home from work but with adapter they sound huge playing Brothers Osbourne with surprisingly clean mids and nice treble. Will get 2 to 3 hours tonight to get a proper idea but im instantly happy
