Yes, as Chris demonstrated in a lower post there’s nothing there. But while definitely a thing, not sure if YT compression is to blame there, cause here I found an article where they use YT for those samples and it works fine, can hear those 17,4 kHz very clearly.
Here’s another one I found, which is not on YT. Goes from top to bottom too, which I find more convenient.
Can hear those aliasing artifacts they mention in their article, so definitely separating the test tone from that.
My limit is around 18,5 kHz, kinda surprised by it at my 33 years. I’ll take it tho, at least some healthy part of body remains lol

I just got notified my Deuce was rejected by customs for “incorrect/insufficient product description” on the postal declaration, package has been returned to sender, Linsoul. I’ve ordered from Linsoul a lot, first time this has ever happened.
If they give me any problems on refunding I might take you up on that.

I’m soon be 41, and I still hear till around 15000-16000 Hz but it is barely audible there and it slowly fading from around 14000. Only interesting thing is a shift to my right ear between 6500 and 8000 Hz and near my limit too. Seems like my left ear is not that good as my right.

I just realized that this thread is for all of Fatfreq sets.
It’s filled with pissed Deuce buyers and all the other sets cannot get any talk because the Deuce is such a shitshow. They have really hurt themselves. I don’t see anyone talking about any other sets, the planar set and other new set are getting hurt by this self inflicted stuff.
They apparently let go of the rep Sebastion

Ellie helped me but turrned out bad. I bought 4.4mm cable to change the cable with left side. Tried taking the right side since I going to change 3.5mm to 4.4mm broke in the same area. The left side and the 4.4mm cable was delivered but thought it seems weird. I waited 2-3 months for deuce and the replacement shipped in 1 day singerpore to usa. No mail and checked the tracking number shows nothing.

Just out of interest…asking all folks that have been involved with the Deuce debacle, do you feel it was worth FF’s short term gains v’s it’s long term stigma associated with this launch…and would you ever buy another FF set?
