I have a large dog toy pig…and I’m taking it to school…what is the problem lady?

My daughter does that to .
We have been asked to leave the toys at home (or car). Kids will fight over toys.
She now likes Peppa Pig, Baby Shark and dinosaurs :))

LOL

Yeah this is better than when he tries to carry 6 books and keeps dropping them and starts crying

Fully agree that a case like yours should have been handled like the second option, or at least some consistency maintained across the board with how they handle things.
Imo a ‘boutique brand’ is not all about ‘oh they’re small cut them some slack’, it should also naturally mean that they can handle things in a boutique way and be nimble and attentive, take more care on a case by case basis.

Well anyway, it seems that my messages are read by someone who doesn’t give any fks at all lol. Just vibing in a sauce of life and letting things sort out themselves somehow.

I’d understand maybe if I was rude or demanding or anything, so that the reader took it personally or something and just ghosting out of spite. Which would still be unprofessional, but that’s besides the point. But no! I’ve remained extremely polite throughout, extremely. Way more than I should have been probably, all things considered.

Today marks a month with no response btw. Unreal lol

Hi Chris, I am curious why some sets that I believe you liked are not in the rankings.
Monarch MKIII - I remember you said this was taken down by mistake
Oracle MK3, Pilgrim Noir – I believe you liked these…but not ranked
Prestige OG (not LTD) …bad tunning? Or what is the story here:)
Kinera Loki…too expensive??! :))

Thanks

Thats your order # right?

The only person I tried to help directly out of the hundreds…the thousands who got bad service…was you.
And here you are, and they did nothing.

Trying to figure out how KZ is worse than this?
Whose worse Fatfreq or KZ.

Yes, that’s my order. Again, I truly appreciate all your help good man. It’s incredible that you cared and have been very vocal about all this, while their entire team never cared at all. Big respect, that’s rare nowadays.
Like I mentioned a month ago when I joined, me finding this forum is the only positive thing out of my FF experience.
I genuinely enjoy reading this thread and try to keep up always.

No option but to continue waiting. Hopefully it resolves one way or another at some ephemeral point.

Keep seeing this everyday that I check the chat for any response. Viscerally feel that FF difference lol

Man I really hope it gets resolved soon!

Planar drivers for IEM are manufactured in China only.
I just saw the headphones dot com vid (Thumbnail)
Ya’ll gotta affirm or disprove that a majority of the actual physical drivers in top of the line gear comes from China. Everybody is grossly over charging for these big money sets. It’s like watches. If you got the cash…splash it but you are paying for profit margins mostly

As a self-proclaimed Planar IEM fanboy, I 100% expected the Solo to use those drivers.

I listened to the Solo at CanJam, and I loved it. I knew it was the same driver that other planar IEMs use, but those resonating chambers and the open back design make all the difference.

Like you like to say, drivers are the engine of the IEM.

But if you hook up an LS to the transmission out of a Geo Metro, it’s going to struggle to harness all that power and torque.

If we look at that Planar driver as an LS Motor, then what 64 Audio did is make a mid-engined car with a bespoke transmission and suspension. You can have the best engine in the world, but if you don’t know how to build a good car around it, you’ll be disappointed no matter what engine you use.

I agree with all that, I was more pointing to why it’s a topic at all.
Do people think there is a electronics factory in Colorado manufacturing micro drivers?
Really?
With material and labor costs in U.S.
the price per would be crazy compared to China.
It’s common sense.
Some people are surprised?
THAT…is surprising

One thing I learned from working in the electronics industry is that 99% of customers believe that Bill of Materiels Cost is the only thing that goes into pricing a component or part.

“If the capacitors, resistors, and inductors are less than a cent each, why am I paying $200 for the board?”

I got questions like that on the regular.

I just got my deuce, very happy with them other than the so called “limited deuce edition red eartip” that I ordered with them. They don’t really fit on the deuce… it looks like it is made for 3-5mm nozzles when the deuce nozzle is 6.9mm.

Don’t understand how Fatfreq markets it for the deuce when it can’t even fit on it.

Just a small rant. Still a great product despite the wait. Thanks for making it happen @hawaiibadboy

You are the 1st person that has the red tips.
no hats yet but tips or off the bucket lust.
Glad you like them…and the tip not fitting the Deuce seems appropriate considering that not much has gone smooth :skull:

I recieved my apology from Fatfreq.
I will no longer jump on them.
It is up to you, to decide if the pro’s outweigh the cons.
My reviews of future Fatfreq items will be of the item in front of me.

If you think an apology being this big of a deal is odd…
You don’t know anyone with Aspergers.
Everybody is right and nobody is wrong is not somethig an aspy would or could ever say
I’ll leave it at that.

Happy you got your apology.

I’m hoping as more and more sets make their way into the hands of those who ordered that some of this negativity dies down. Lessons will be learned. But at the end of the day, the Deuce is an Epic Set. I’ve been listening ever since I got back from CanJam, rotating through other sets in preparation for my review, and you know what? It’s legit something special. It’s a transformer with that bass adapter. You can go from super clean with amazing sub bass to absolutely absurd levels of bass with a simple plug switch.

It’s so much fun, and way cleaner and more detailed than I expected. Now I see why there was so much hype for the Scarlett and Maestro Mini. When I was at CanJam I deliberately tried the Deuce first because that’s what it was supposed to be for me: the entry point.

Went from listening to the Deuce and made my way up to the Grand Maestro Anniversary with the Super Stage modules, and it made me realize that I’m really grateful that the Deuce exists. There are a few boutique brands with “Entry Point” IEMs like this, but I never thought FatFreq would have one. And we have you to thank for that.

At the end of the day, despite all the problems. There is a FatFreq set, under $300, on sale at stores all over the internet, and it gives everybody who couldn’t normally afford a Maestro Mini at $480 a chance to experience that type of sound for around half the price.

That’s a huge win for customers everywhere, and it’s all thanks to you.

I’ll post my review when it goes live, safe to say it’s going to be quite positive.

Glad you got it, brother. Chapter being closed is the best sign in this case.

The Deuce is legit. While it’s difficult to ignore everything else around it, and doesn’t make sense to not address it, it’s an epic set. The hype and satisfaction is real. Even if it’s not going to make every single person happy, I think the people that enjoy it are going to go all in with them.
