Stock cable has microphonics? And do the iem come with the cable attached?

Yep, and they are using the 0.78 into the 0.75 hole for a really tight fit.
Others have had pieces of the iem chip etc.
The stock âred bloodâ cable is very microphonic imho. Youâd basically need to perfectly still or listen loud enough to drown out the noise.
yeahh thats bad, if they didnt have it attached it would have been easier to just avoid using that cable from the start i guessâŚ

Spot on!! I think for me it was Fatfreq finally being reasonable on their signature bass and obviously the HBB collab. If not for that, I dont think I could ever afford an FF product.
P.S - I still have my Kiwi ears Quartetz which I still very muchy enjoy!!!

For posterity. I did hear back from Ben after a couple of weeks, got the magnet update. My order number starts #118, but from what Iâve seen they donât seem like theyâre being updated sequentially.

I finally received mine after losing hope of receiving it before a full 6 months of waiting and Iâm quite pleased with itđ¤. I also liked it with an impedance cable, but I had to EQ and raise the mids a little more and the instruments became more present and the soundstage also opens up more and despite the absurd amount of bass it is super controlled I donât even feel this huge gain.

Well, I hold no love for the man, but some of his jabs below the belt are funny. But I donât take him seriously, so Iâm not losing any sleep over it.
Also, I donât find this hobby nearly as toxic as some of the others out there (watches for example).
Its just⌠people need to log off, step outside and touch some grass from time to time. Iâve been there, being a mortally online edgelord troll is not sustainable, no matter how old you are.
