Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

Consider Poweramp EQ instead, you have custom PEQ in it, which I dont think Wavelet has.

Sucks I cant find it on iOS app store. Apparently its only on android. Pffttt.

aa, if you are on IOS, then you are screwed everywhere when it comes to audio. Go to Android!

suckkkss, I just recently moved to iOS. I still have Android tho, but anyways ill check out Poweramp. What do you suggest for desktop eq ?

on windows i believe Equalizer APO is the best one.

Im on linux though and I believe PulseEffects is the best there.

im using the Fiio JA11 which has built in PEQ that you can access via their webapp for my Aiyima S400 speakers though.

APO is probably the best on windows for its flexibility and system-level control. Another good option is FXSound—it’s less customizable but has a user-friendly interface and solid presets

Another PEQ is SteelSeries GG Sonar, it is quite feature rich, but maxes out at 10 PEQ points, but has virtualization and other features, but yeah Equalizer APO is the best.
Recently switched back to EqAPO because I needed a better control over my mic. SteelSeries won’t show up or doesn’t work in Citrix HDX. But it had better AI driven noise cancellation for microphones. The other pro is you don’t need a SteelSeries hardware to use all the features, works with everything.

Will the deuces 4.4 mm balance cable fit the Scarlet minis?

Is someone making up a backstory for them?
Yumu has complete control (Hifigo) of naming, pricing, future configs, and total control of promotion.

No…
Actually in this hobby it is more often used to imply a closer relationship via financial or content supply and that is influencing the opinions given by the person or group.
Headphones.com has been very transparent and shit on stuff they sell and hype stuff they don’t (but maybe sell later) cuz if you like it…why not make it available to your customers.
A Shill is another way of saying “Whore” or “Hooo wa” IMO

Transparency and Shill do not mix…again…IMO

Yeah, agree or disagree with Resolve/Listener/DMS/Headphones.com and their subjective takes - that’s one thing. But they are always consistent with their opinions and their transparency.

Didn’t Andrew put up a video with a full breakdown on how the relationship works between The headphone show and headphones.com?

Because of how they operate, I find them to be one of the most trustworthy sources of information in the hobby. And they are NOT afraid to sweep some legs if warranted. Look at Cameron’s crusade against MQA snakeoil, the dCS thing, DMS’s honest breakdown of costs to build his Omega headphone, his recent video on headphone ‘burn-in’, etc. Listeners work on gathering data on all the different meauring rigs used etc.
I don’t always agree with some of their personal takes and tastes (Andrews preferences are about as exciting as a damp rag). But I really appreciate what they do for the hobby.

After a straigh week of blasting emails to every FF channel they responded. They started a case with the mail-carrier and if the package is unable to be found they will expedit a new one to me.
I was worried about their response because they never responded to my previous questions about the tracking not working for 6 weeks. So im happily suprised this went relatively well.
So , credit where its due , they did their job!

Day 3 of no email from Fat Freq

Yea that’s not doing their job. You needed to use every communication channel available just to get a response after a long time on something that should have been delivered over two months ago.

The fact that it takes them this long just to respond is beyond absurd. They didn’t even have the decency to mass communicate or even update the product page with any info even though they know of several issues on their end. They just let thousands of customers sit there with no update or anything. To top it all off, you still haven’t received the product.

An update on homepage 8,7,6,5,4,3,2 weeks ago is normal. What I expect anyway.
I have not seen anything that is impressive related to FF and Deuce.
Nothing.
