Oh man, I’ve also listened to Kendrick Lamar’s GNX album. It’s beyond banging indeed. Finally some rap. And reincarnated’s beat hit me right into nostalgia lol, holy hell. So good! Overall, extremely solid beats there, and his performance as well as everybody’s featured was tight af.
I’ve kinda given up on the genre, from any modern performer that is, cause any rec I got was quite bad, sometimes excruciatingly so. And I die inside a little bit when somebody calls Drake’s music rap. Sigh…
But I’ll explore more Kendrick Lamar’s albums now. Enjoyed GNX a lot.

I think imo it does exceptionally well on rap, old school hip hop, does pretty good on rock (with a bit of eqing), best in DnB genre. What are your suggestions ?

Haha, Drake is pop and far away from rap. GNX is def a sick album. So many good albums this year. My fav’s are

  3. John Sebastian - Action Bronson
  4. Gods network - Rakim
  5. Murdergram - LL cool J
  6. Might delete later - J.cole

I have yet to listen to J.coles second new album “The warm up” and Kanye’s “Vulture2”.

Curious how different the Timeless II will sound from the AE. Looking pretty similar on the graph but the last I heard was the original timeless and it definitely seems like an improvement over that.
