It’s just that I had lost interest in this hobby last yr after I took Studio4 & Oriolus Isabellae. Both sets just sounded sooo Good. And nothing new was even close.
It just seemed, it’s all old staff with very polished marketing. Marketing and push seemed to be ramping up by one seller and a lot of people, where the new staff is always better. They are still doing this with varying levels of success.
I really didn’t thought that was the case. In fact to this day nothing these newer companies have provided that surpassed studio4 & isa. In fact every time I demoed new sets I thought they are Mid.
If they actually believed the New iems are better than older models, They would’ve sent all those to @hbb for a honest take.

I am struggling with “best of” videos for 2024 because a lot of stuff is not actually any better, in fact, the “custom BA” phenom being pushed is just a way for companies to pay less for materials and add a nice cable but keep or increase profit margins. With whores like Jason pumping that shit out there with no shame whatsoever.
I think in my half asleep ramblings things got lost. But that’s what I was trying to say. Most new hybrids are not breaking any grounds. These new “customs ba” bullshit is a new way of using E-Audio/bellsing BA’s. I’m sorry but not buying these new tactics, all the HO’s will do their job, but I’m not bitting.

@hawaiibadboy I’d say, I’m sorry if you don’t mention exactly what BA you are using in your $150-$400 hybrid, I’d think you don’t have confidence in your choices of BA, or you are trying to hide something
They seem to sound just as good as the old version so the drivers can not be that bad, but then again only two or so were changed which are only responsible for a small spectrum of the frequency response.
I don’t dislike Bellsing drivers Just for being Bellsing drivers but yeah transparacy and adjusted prices would be nice
