Thank you.

I was not expecting that on multiple fronts. The Hype 10 is a big boy price range set, which are usually in the auction for animal shelters ( which is so cool ), and an IEM I was curious about. I find ThieAudio makes great gear, just most of it is out of my price range.

@hawaiibadboy I emailed, the main channel address, since I didnā€™t see one on the unboxing channel. If that wasnā€™t the right thing to do, just let me know. Thanks again, and happy holidays.

I have a bunch of those Final E tips. At one point I used them on pretty much everything. Will give those a try later today.

Interesting. When you say chopped foams, do you mean something like the Comply foams with the excess foam snipped off the end?

Great review, man. Thanks. For something thatā€™s under a $100 I am also considering to purchase the ā€œTangzu YU Xuan Jiā€. For some reason cheap IEMā€™s keep getting better lol. I might have to dig in a little bit and compare the Xuan Ji and Sivga Que !

I generally chop the front part, gives me great seal. They donā€™t really look very good, but they do wonders

Interestingā€¦these fit in the cavity well? I always assumed the rounder part in the front made these go in smoother and stay there.

I donā€™t want to answer for someone else, what introvertguy has to say may be different, but generally with foams you can pinch them into a sharp shape even if they start as a cylinder.

Same, running Springtips on Punch and itā€™s working really nicely. Other stuff like Divinus seem to bring mids forward a little more but I really like what the Springtips are doing.

The Sex Pistols stole all their gear out the back of a venueā€¦ but I donā€™t think they were at large at the time

Hi! Anyone here using the silver grand maestro cable? Does anyone know where can i buy a 4.4mm connector? They sent a 2x 3.5mm, it looks like a termx connector as well but im not sure so its better to ask here first, thanks!

Looks to be the same OE plug style that Symphonium and others use: OE Plug Interchangeable Heads

Is it one of those 4 pin socket? Like this

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005003568603994.html

Itā€™s very similar, but the alignment mechanism is different; OE plugs have a little plastic ā€˜dotā€™ that sockets into place to ensure the pins are correct for the connector to the cable (Iā€™m currently trying to unscrew mine to show).
Edit: Pics of the connectors and side of the barrel. A collar screws onto the connector to secure it into place.

@BassEars Obviously you can confirm with Elysian or whomever made your cable, but based on the design I am 99.5% sure itā€™s just a ā€˜standardā€™ OE Plug termination which, as you can see, is indeed available in 4.4mm.

Edit: @toranku @SoundJedi can either of you confirm if Elysian uses OE Plugs for their interchangable termination?
