We had a discussion about this; it seems that the retailers are calling it a 2DD but Softears themselves haven’t actually used that term in their own literature; we were hoping that Softears would squash it but I think it’s up to you and other reviewers to actually call it out for what it is (DD + PR or similar).
Edit: DD as a damper might be more accurate? Or just added mass?

I just did a morning edit, this is a modified 1DD
This is not “passive” as it is essentially a modded dust cap with a surround.
It is not a P rad because it is secured to active driver.
This is really kind of a hustle.
This is not a 2DD set at all.

I was looking at the TOTL Sony and JBL Boomboxes ( I make/mod and collect em) JBL Partybox 1k Ultimate and Sony ULT 10 cant ship to Japan. Made in China, Gotta go Aliexpress…for JBL or Sony and I live in Japan…crazy
