Looking forward to comparisons with 622b aswell. Do canpur’s bcds add scale/width to mids, and is there excessive sharpness in valhalla’ upper treble?

Hells Bells is a good sound check (Bell wise)…the bell was manufactured by John Taylor & Co Bellfounders UK and the toll was recorded inside the bell foundry it’s self

I remember someone who got one showing us that the “chin” at the bottom of the device was different/much larger than their marketing had previously shown.

I have JM21 for a month and a half now. Apart from mediocre battery (that got slightly better over the last few updates (it got 5 small releases since the day 1!)) I fully recommend this DAP.
It is damn snappy for the price + it has perfect size for my taste so overall it bring very good UX. The one minor drawback is the position of the buttons on sides which makes it very easy to simultaneously press RWD along with screen unlock button by accident. Did it like 1000x already in the middle of freaking 16mins song. Right I am this kind of complainer 
I don’t comment on sound as usual- for me it sounds just as good as anything (coming from cheap gear like A55, R3 II, Shanling M0 Pro, qudelix 5k or dx3pro+).
Another small problem is well - stupid and 1st world type of proble - coming from non streaming DAP I really tend to use JM21 less than any other simpler device before. Having unlimitted access to spotify causes me to struggle in choosing what to listen to. I most often end up shuffling through random playlists with quite a lot of shit music, which is opposite to careful album selection I used to do with older DAPs, where I really tried to squeeze every single moment out of the limitted time I had for the listening sessions 
So if that analogy makes sense - non android DAPs are IEMs, and android DAPs are more like TWS to me in terms of listening experience type

Funny, the JM21 I ordered just arrived today. Initial impressions have been great. I’m amazed at the features this thing has at just $175.

That’s a no prob for me. Infact it makes sense since you are using it everyday, so small probs will surface.
