It’s a full 30% cheaper and arguably better than the Tea Pro.
It has better quality drivers than Davinci (odd treb timbre), less sizzle than estrella, better sq and no funky DSP like Dusk (the BA planar is great meme gota stop. Sounds worst than BA or EST and DD.)mokes Deuce in every way.

in what parameter would you say the odyssey beat tea pro and vice versa? Both are in consideration as my next set and I enjoy a slightly vocal forward set while still maintaining decent oomf in the lows and still energetic/fun enough in the trebles.

I’d be shocked if something can compete with the Deuce in terms of bass quality around that price range. I haven’t heard the Punch but that might be the closest set.
I’ve heard all of the other FF sets and in terms of bass, the Deuce smokes them, confidently.

You got a recommendation for something like the Pro’s? I got them and the bite on is just a bit too harsh. Deeper insertion has helped but the way the treble hits is still a bit “clicky” or “tacky” in a way that hurts at higher volumes.
Bass texture is great though, soundstage is nice. My set sounds a bit oddly separated though.
QC thing maybe?

I know that the deuce will get trashed because the company screwed up, but I definitely have been having a lot of fun with them. The bass is addicting and it has made me want to listen for hours just to hear how some songs sound on them. I own about 3 iems and the deuce has been the one that has brought out the most excitement.
I enjoy this hobby but it’s definitely expensive, so I can appreciate the deuce for slowing me down.
Definitely want to check out a few more iems, like the punch, but I will be patient and try and wait for a decent sale.

Nah brother I appreciate your honesty and I agree with what you say. I am definitely not excusing anything they did. I know I won’t ever purchase another fatfreq product again after all that happened. I honestly just jumped in blind because I trust what you say and you are one of the few real ones.
I am way to new to the hobby to be loyal to any brand. I don’t cheerlead any company. I just want to listen to a good iem that is within my budget and hopefully maybe one day splurge and get the punch.
Either way. I know I could have done more to give fatfreq the finger but didn’t. So I don’t know what that technically makes me. A ho?

Nah, you’re just on the periphery, which is fine. If you were running around singing the company’s praises while ignoring any and all evidence to the contrary, THAT would qualify you as a Ho. If you were being paid for it, well, we know what that qualifies as. You did neither.
This is the best policy for any hobby or life in general. Good products deserve praise, and companies that provide good service deserve praise. Just cheering for a brand out of a misplaced sense of loyalty does nothing but give them free advertising and put the person that does it on the hook for that company’s behavior and reputation. Yes, it sucks when a company puts out a good product and shits the bed literally every other way possible, but it happens.
