Actually this is the RGB 2⌠it has DD bass. The original RGB was EST/BA. As far as I know this is still in the works and price or release date hasnât been finalized yet.

Yeah, latest releases from canjam seem to indicate the ânew new normalâ flagship pricing soon to be 6-8k. I give up, this is just comical at this point.

Same, took me till my second set after selling and buying again to even realize. 
Yeah, prices are getting outta hand, they are controlling early access only to folks they trust and in trust I meanâŚnot torpedo their launch/pre order which has almost become defacto (long pre orders) and is just a modified Kickstarter.
That set with a Kings crown is about the ugliest thing Iâve ever seen.

Spam the webs with tour samples (looks like a lot of folks got it if same set is reviewed 5x or more.
Limited builds
Because your tight controlls and hand picked meat bags are not that infuential
The folks who pay 4-15k woulda bought it anyway.
If their system worked we wouldnât see the âfriends onlyâ and long pre order/limited runs.
There are like 3 people in 10 years I even have an interest in listening to what they have to say about flagships.

Profit margins are ENORMOUS in the 4k and up range.
Thatâs why itâs worth it/ a trend
Even the short builds are a financial harvest/windfall

Eh⌠I wouldnât worry about the increased prices to be honest. I tried a bunch of stuff at NYC all the way up to $8k and those manuâs that are putting out high prices and not delivering something to go along with it are just âfailingâ. Right now itâs a buyers market thanks to typical IEM depreciation. A 622b is like $2k used⌠lol. You can also get an Apx Se for $5k used⌠if a company is coming out with a new IEM that costs more and offers less then IMO itâs already irrelevant.
I normally donât name drop but Rhapsodio is probably the company that IMO is just straight up scamming. I am convinced that guy throws random shit into a shell and just says fuck it⌠â$6kâ and moves on. Itâs mind boggling how unrefined or flat out BAD some of those sets are and the prices that come with it. I heard the âDarkerâ at NYC and literally started laughing because it just ridiculously poor. The name was no joke at least, it had the darkest treble âtuningâ I have ever heard.
Normally you can hear sets you donât like but at least take away from what they may be good at, I couldnât do that with this one. Truly an accomplishment and only $5500!
