True! I plan on sticking to the little-to-no-carbs diet thing, it seems to be working out for me, really well I might add. My joints feel much better. My head feels more clear as well.
One thing about this calorie deficit thing is I am more irritable than normal… lol
That happens probably because of the change in diet and body is adapting. But I will say just be careful on the calorie deficit when you workout because you will be burning calories and you may need a little bit more calories on those workout days.
Also … as long as you enjoy your diet brother it will stick. A lot of us end up yoyoing because we pick diets that are not realistic for long term.

Replace the net grams of the carbs you are removing with Tofu
If your stomach is as full as before dieting you’ll quickly forget you are denying yourself anything.
It’s basically tasteless and goes wiith Beef/Chicken/Fish/Pork/Salads or solo.
It’s also great protien with basically nothing else.
If carb restricting grab Tofu.
It will get you feeling better, when I was working it was all movement all day, massive caloric trading, the pandemic pretty much killed all that and it’s been a shift. I always felt a bit lucky that way…being paid to basically exercise. Did not need a second more movement after the job, I emphasize with anyone working a day then needing to find time and energy to hit a workout.
By roughly following the saying “Eat like a king in the morning, a prince at lunch, and a pauper at dinner”… I’ve changed my shape back. “Pauper at dinner” being key for my older self.
I definitely missed all the movement and work, so body weight training , and was lucky to find a great deal on a quality used cross trainer…For now, I don’t come out of the room without least 1000 calories being displaced. And, it’s a great time for distraction free IEMs. Feeling quite good, physically these days.
Keep at it, Strive to find what works for you, even small adjustments/changes can yield big results!
That would make me sad. I love cooking dinner. The work day is over, and I get to do something nice with my family.
During the week I eat oatmeal for breakfast, anf typically have a protein bar for lunch, but dinner I tend to make as “from scratch” as I can carve out time for. I even make my own bread.

I have also been following something similar but its more like lunch like a king and a pauper for everything else. I have never been able to eat in the mornings so am used to not having breakfasts. I then have a hearty lunch early around 11 and then I am practically done for the day. Ocassionaly i will feel a lil hungry at night so I have some fruit and yogurt. Ofc there are some exceptions to this routine such as some gatherings, or travel.
Yep, Now I mostly have breakfast around 11 am with some fats and carbs, something lite around 3 pm to fuel a workout 4-5. 7 pm is a big salad with smaller lean protein very low carb and fat, fully rehydrate.
(Since I’m not trying to build/bulk this works for me.)
That gives a 16 hr fast. Couldn’t do that schedule when I was working though…burning hard by 8 am without food is tough.
I finished up with "Tabata " rounds which is H.I.T but my heart rate actually dropped . Good sign my breathing is under control when I need it to be.
I burned more calories in the sweat suit than this app gives me but…whatever. I NEED this app now.
