Although I didn’t train today, I did help friends shift 6 tons of gravel into a skip and burned 800 kCal doing so.

He nailed pretty much all of my irritations with the set I have, you say what you want about zeos but he always picks up on the stuff that will annoy you even if you dont agree with his takes on sound.
I hated the impedence adapter too, especially when I remember how they blamed it for delays when its so unnecessary.

Well my saga with Fat Fuck has an added chapter.
Since I got them , have been using just the 4.4 termination. I wanted to try the 3.5 for some movies on the iPad. Immediately the right channel was dead…check the connection, is good… try another player, right channel dead. Turns out that the right side shorts if I fully couple the 3.5. In other words, unscrew the cover… back the pins out by 1.4 mm and the channel is back. I can get maybe one full turn for the cover…so it will function but loose.
I notify the fat fuck team and explain in precise language, respectful and calm, what the problem is and would they please just send me the 3.5 end. Well now Hold On There Bubbalouie…we need some pics… ( the very direct implication is that , of course, I am connecting improperly, they actually said as much)… I send the the pics and explain again that the connection is fine as long as I don’t set it all the way. Oh no …that cannot be , we are the fat fuck experts of all things iems you must be doing it wrong… we are going to need some video and more pics… @#$%^&* fuck! Video?
I was not subtle in relaying mine and the collective disappointment in my response.
Maybe one US dollar would go into that part, that they would not let go in the spirit of good customer relations. It blows my mind, truly.
If Ten top reviewers said the the next FF was tuned by God and nothing could ever be better and the graph seduced me in my dreams …my hope is for someone to knock my soul clear out of my human suit before I give any money to those fuknuts.

I’ve said I would not comment further on the whole FF debacle but damn, it never seems to end. Those guys are just something else, and that’s not a complimentary statement.

The preorder was monstrous and an official apology would have gone a long way. Even with the enormous headaches they doubled up on the pre orders and sold even more after release.
Such a waste. This disaster eventually reached you directly and they lost a customer forever. It all makes no sense to me. Even the most negative take that this was a capital adventure to fund future projects doesn’t explain the lack of an apology and an explanation

I wonder that if the original love of the music and awesome replay has simply been buried under incoming cash. Or the stresses of customer maintenance or even their own inadequacies has turned them sour.
Here in Asia, my experience is that there are a surprising number of businesses that don’t see the benefit of working with customers ( regardless of where blame would rest), particularly when any outlay of resources is more than offset with happy customers.

Yeah , this was an easy win for them, I expected , “Oh we’re sorry about that , we’ll get one out asap”…seems like they are actively choosing dig deeper.

Aegis will be out just a bit later this month and I know the final retail box will be shown off before release. I think the cable will end up being slightly different and I’m hoping they really nail it with the release.

I did leg workout right before training and it was like wading in mud…my legs could barely move.
That 1 hour felt like 2 and I had to avoid looking at the round counter because it woulda made it all go even slower. Leg day Ima need some Red Bull or something to get a spark.
That was brutal
Heart rate was low the whole time.
