What is the price?

nvm Google is my buddy

If you are only person selling the 69 units…maybe more effort is due??
Considering the markup/margins…can we get a driver count?
Is there another page on Musicteck?

Driver config and crossover count is on the picture on musicteck page

Yeah…they look ugly
They should do something fancy with those caps /sarcasm

The pic I posted with golden Phoenix is supposedly final version of the faceplate. Not sure about shell color/material.

I know, I’m being sarcastic.
The pic of the demo shells and not the beautiful Phoenix is just lazy.
$7000 b4 early bird discount and the pic is a dummy/demo and the decription is
same as day the posted in February.
Even budget stuff should have accurate info and images.
I expect effort for nosebleed stuff but I’m demanding…I guess?

Also…seems like Flagship arena has become like Kickstarter.
The money collection is getting to be 2-3 months pre release which is by proxy funding the builds.

Tuning via Canjam feedback? Great on one side but having a tuner with a library and a vision is more ideal. Appealing.
An ideal safe tuned multi genre playing set is something I have 5 of
Storm
Cp622b
Valhalla
Amber Pearl
PMG SE

Geting 200 opinions from folks with varying libraries doesn’t make sense.
Talk about the tuner, the music, the goal.
There are millions of hobbiest and millions who love certain genre specifically.
There is money out there but everyone is targeting Joe P public

how is the slam/dynamics for bass and sub bass of this set compared to the cp622b?

What’s weird is I think it was priced around $4k initially? But they ended up increasing the price which I think may price them out considering Duality still kinda exists and now there’s a lot of other stuff out with great bass.

Omega hammers . The Canpur has that tactile transfer on big 808 drops that you can feel but aside from that tickle the Omega is a bigger puncher IMO w/my library

Yeah, this set and the tribrid for $15,000 because cable and case have serial #'s has been odd to watch

so the canpur is felt more on the ear?

Yes, on low freq drops 60-70Hz and below.

Very true. Although sometimes I find that the resulting taller termination helps with the fit for my ears, while trying out flush feels less comfortable. I don’t think it’s a consideration for them though, probably more of person to person case.

Considering these two angles, it indeed makes it feel like a cash grab first and foremost. And at that ridiculous price point, they should offer extreme customization imo. And yeah, prototype on the promo materials is wild lol.

In general, it’s hard to find audio brands with a clear vision of who they are and what they’re trying to achieve. Hell, even though I know my identity I still struggle to clearly communicate it!

Although, as mentioned earlier in the chat, missing some fundamentals like a lip on the nozzle is just truly perplexing…

The high end market has become very interesting, for better and for worse. I think part of it has to do with how competitive and excellent cheaper sets have become. Premium products have to do anything and everything to stand out, even if standing out means simply being expensive. I think we will continue to see a lot of daring moves from many brands. And some genuinely exciting stuff. I could never personally justify a Fugaku nor is it exactly to my taste, but I can’t help but respect the engineering time and energy that’s clearly been put into the whole system.

i wish the canpur had the look and moulding of the omega cus the part that pokes out on the canpur usually doesnt work great for my ear, aswell as the design of a mermaid costume is a little fun lol

this might be a gimmick but if it works at least we have cheaper alternative to pentaconn tips, which is always welcomed

Yeah that wing edge?

That’s why I don’t talk about fit at all in vids cuz my ears are crushed from years of fists and feet and knees and elbows…and the ground

We can’t even get companies to tell us what the origin of transducers are.
Model/Series#/White papers/specs / manufacturer measures.

It’s already the “standard”
This is supposedly a performance based electronic hobby.
We have graphs and little else in the form of data.

“Other people do it”
“Can’t hear the difference”

Those are not good enough in fact that’s child like reasoning.

Most high end gears have real world performance differences compared to next tier down that most humans can hardly perceive but benchmarks can sus out.
I can compare any phone, card TV etc in seconds.
I can’t even get answers on what the transducer are in gear dedicated to audio replay? in a hobby that has supposed tiers designated by price and performance.

That’s is convenient for companies profit.
No other reason to deny consumer the right to know what they are buying.

I’ll spend $10k for IEM. Not for a mystery box with more acronyms than info

Your set has branded drivers :+1:

I didn’t feel up to much this morning. Hit the weights after a good warm up and all the late nights and long days of the past week caught up with me; I just kept it gentle cardio after that.

On the plus side, sounds like I got a good set. Surprisingly good sub bass extension. I haven’t cranked these yet to get a sense of what they’re capable of but I am so far pleased.

Yeah my set is killer :white_check_mark:. Glad you didn’t get the “hello darkness “ version :star:

I am on the same page broo… there’s something about the compactness and precision of IEM engineering that makes it way more fascinating than full-size headphones.

the bar’s been raised so high by budget sets that the high end space has almost become a proving ground for brand identity and risk-taking. Sometimes it feels like they’re trying to justify the price by being different just to be different, but other times, that boldness leads to something genuinely special. Things like the Fugaku…not entirely my cup of tea either, but the sheer effort behind it is hard not to admire.
