Same. I absolutely love the Origin. I haven’t bought another iem since because it feels like there is no point. Not even interested in a sidegrade.

And yeah, they’re chonky mfrs, but still comfortable enough to wear for 4-5 hours at a time. (for me at least)

Yeah, my grandfather once spent a few years digging out our ancestry because our last name very clearly points to former nobility from before Napoleon focefully introduced last names (it has a ‘de’ in there, written with a lower case ‘d’). It’s wild. He ended up claiming the line goes back to a knight who participated in the 3rd crusade. I honestly doubt that is the case since the 3rd crusade was in 1189 AD. You’d have to be some pretty highranking nobility to have records exist that far back. I ended up going through the paperwork after my grandfather died, but the connections are spotty at best. Nothing definitive to tie our family to that crusader.

Imo Mark II is probably inevitable with their track record of sequels lmao, but I somehow feel like they can’t possibly top it and it will just be different for the sake of it.

Wow, sounds like you’ve found your perfect match with the Origin! The way you described the soundstage and bass is really intriguing—especially the tactile feel with the bone conduction driver. I’m curious, how do you feel the ESTs compare to other IEMs you’ve tried in terms of treble smoothness? And agree, the aesthetic on this is top-notch! Those retro vibes are definitely giving it a unique edge.
