Bought an Arcadia back in March to gift a friend, and after opening it 2 days ago we noticed the left side has almost no bass, no impact at all. Return period has already passed. My guess is that the DD is just not working. Any ideas?

Thereâs a warranty period that you should be within, no? Send in for repair or replacement.

Oh ok! I think since u did ur review of the ze51b the bass has been toned down by Zempire? Which is unfortunate since it seems it was one of the only iems that had that sort of bass

Iâve been sitting on a pair of grills for almost 2 months now and I finally be bothered to spend the 3 minutes it took to change them.
People were right, this is abolutely an improvement to my ears. Not just in the subbass, but the stage also feels a bit opened up. Not sure how much of it is psycho-accoustics thoughâŠ
Still, I feel dumb as bricks for waiting so long.

That is all still fine. Where it does feel like it took a small hit, seems to be imaging.
The bassline here is still intact and still feels like you are about to hit the brown note.
But now it feels like busier tracks feel a little bit less coherent to me.
A bit early to fully judge. I need to listen a bit more.
Synthwave tracks are awesome so far though

Funny how a tiny mod you keep putting off ends up making a noticeable difference. Glad it paid off though! Sometimes it really is more than just placebo, especially if youâre hearing it in both subbass and stage.

Iâve never used my Goverment name ever. Not once.
So the DNA test is required because other family members are disputing my right as the legal heir.
The whole Geneology thing is facinating. I can see how some people get into it.

Thatâs interesting from a Europeanâs POV. Over here, a passport or ID card would suffice (which I assume you have) so to have to take a DNA test sounds like overkill (not to mention the âzero footprintâ part).

They found me via the Japan consulate who gave me 2 options. 1. They can tell the party inquiring that I am alive but give no further detail.(Thatâs pretty cool actually) 2. I get in touch with the parties who were inquiring which the Consulate provided. I did provide pics of my Passport which is how they found me but other family members who I have never met are disputing it.
Linking me to my Grand mothers sister is the way.

Well boys, I think the true endgame is reached for me.
Iâve got Thieaudio Origin, and have been listening to it for a few days now. What a banger, and everything I wanted it to be.
I had high expectations, but it managed to exceed them somehow.
Iâve tried bone conduction with Penon Fan 3, and can definitely say that the effect is very tangible for me, so my endgame absolutely had to include that driver. The sound stage improvement is immense to my ears, plus added tactility feels amazing.
The tuning and tonality are spot on for me, and the ESTs (my first ever) are definitely helping the smoothness incredibly.
I listen to everything basically, apart from scream metal or whatever itâs called lol.
From 80s groove to 90s hip-hop, to rock and punk rock, to instrumentals, to pop, to synthwave, to indie like Low Roar, to rap-rave like Die Antwoord, to some classical with tons of string and air instruments. You name it basically lol.
Everything sounds amazing on the Origin to my ears.
It is actually the first time that all reviewers got it spot on in various aspects, itâs kinda rare and mind blowing lol. The sound is grand, the bass is grand too, itâs mega textured, it is âitâs own thingâ. The tuning is outstanding for me, the sound stage is outrageous as I mentioned. Iâm often catching myself thinking that if I decided to sing along right now, Iâd hear myself clearly like the music is around me, not inside of me, so my voice wouldnât be muffled cause earphone seal lol. If that makes sense lol.
Havenât done tons of tip rolling yet, started with what I have more hits with, which are Spinfit W-1 and Sancai regular. Sancai worked amazingly and better comfort here than W-1. Had to go small size with both for this set. Usually use medium. Will roll more though as I love it and find great value in it, plus I have so many various options.
The comfort is pretty good for me. Not incredible, but luckily very good, with extremely good seal, not sticking out much, and not trying to escape my ears due to cable or whatever. So lucked out here. And the cable helps hugely, it is very comfortable for me and feels non-existent basically.
Theyâve created a custom cable for it and ship with it now instead of EliteNoir. I assume it is to differentiate from the recently released Valhalla. From what Iâve seen, it is probably the same cable but with different hardware. Feels very supple and not stiff at all (was expecting it to be based on reviews and the looks in videos), itâs super comfortable for me, extremely high quality and pleasant to the touch.
Also if you catch the light right, it has blueish greenish tint, very beautiful, camera doesnât capture fully.
I dig the new hardware too, extends the setâs space and retro futuristic vibes for me. The swappable termination is not that big. The Y split it tiny, which is amazing. No chin slider though, not a problem for me, but a plus rather.
Although I talked to Linsoulâs Aliexpress store and mentioned they should disclose this better, which they now do on the main website (changed the pic and added âcustom cableâ passage, but still forgot to remove the EliteNoir passage lmao. Plus added the new cable picture to the Ali listing). Overall, pretty cool that itâs unique and not sold separately for now, and works beautifully for me, but can definitely see people rightfully expecting the original one.
As mentioned, the comfort is good for me. But there is no denying that itâs a very chunky shell lol. Here it is compared to the Explorer in all aspects of shell and cable. Iâll briefly mention that I donât like the Explorer in any aspects other than the stunning looks. The sound just doesnât work for my ears, bass is too encroaching and treble is just odd and rough. On top of it, the absence of nozzle lip is killing me lol.
Overall, Iâm extremely happy with the Origin, and the fact that it exceeded my already high expectations is incredible lol. I love the sound and feel, I love the looks. Itâs an epic set. If I had to nit pick, Iâd say the puck could have been half a centimeter bigger in diameter, would have helped a lot lol, and the included eartips are absolute garbage.
It does feel like a quintessential set for me. In terms of build, I much prefer good resin build instead of metal, I like thicker cables with single strand at the earhooks. Love the cohesive theme and aesthetic. This is my most beautiful set now, followed by my green Kiwi Ears Cadenza, god that looks good, and sounds good as well.
In terms of sound to my ears, it feels like an incredible combo of a wonderful tonality and balance of the HeyDay, the magnificent sound stage and mid bass of Fan 3, with super impressive imaging and pleasant treble like in Final Audio A3000. With sprinkle of some things I enjoyed from other sets.
But all cranked up and refined. I was not expecting it to be this far of a leap, and in the right direction for me at that.
I donât think anything can top it for me personally at this point. As I donât need the uber technicality and prefer the musicality.
Indeed feels like I arrived at this set through all my other ones. The endgame, the Origin and the Destination at the same time (so cheesy I know hehehe).
