There are certainly places that buck the trend. Low, Slow and Dough by me is one.
I do love a burger!

Well, if you ever go to Texas, as you’d imagine, there are many excellent burger joints, but you gotta get a Whataburger.
I’m not saying it’s the main reason I’m moving there, but it’s certainly one of them!
Every time I hear someone mention 5 guys I am reminded of this morbid meme:
It’s a good thing I already had dinner 'cause this would definitely have spoiled my appetite
Gonna have to make this deal for a custom Stealth and Cayin tubes
Lack of interesting IEM and a sweet deal caused this
I have have an M8 arriving today. My top set is C12, so very curious to hear M8.
I was not a fan due to the lack of bass, but I understand why they’re so popular. I posted my impressions if you’re interested
I almost pulled the trigger on the Brise Fugaku but $17,000 isn’t even the problem.
It has knowles and Sonion and Mems which I have hears and sold my Soranik because weird treble decay.
I think Mems is the answer to a question nobody asked.
There really isn’t anything interesting esides 7th Acoustic Asteria.
That is a chonky-ass cable right there. Almost looks like one of our ship’s mooring lines.
I’ve been using a Tripowin altura cable on my HE1000 stealths for a long time now. That cable weighs next to nothing and is one the most comfy cables I ever used. (and its cheap)
Now I’m kind of curious how you’ll feel about that set compared to your other HFMs. For me it’s a toss-up between the HE1000 stealth and HE6v2. They just play a different game imho.
It is a nice vocal centric set. If you have heard Cadenza 4 it is very similar except it has BA bass drivers that is tuned with even less bass than C4’s DD driver. Not a problem for me, but absolutely not for everyone😅
Can confirm the heat stroke rating is accurate. Was feeling very woozy by the end of the session. Training outside is brutal in Summer
Good to know about the MEMS drivers. Wouldn’t be the first time an innovation answers an unasked question but maybe they’ll be useful somewhere else. I’m still keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll get the Anomaly at some point in the future.
Your dedication is admirable (and a good reminder that I really need to get back to it again)
Depends on what you want to use it for.
It shines with Instruments and voices but may fall a bit short for bass heavy, electronic music.
It´s easily fixable though with a bass shelf per Equalizer.
Was one of my favourite sets so far for what it does
If you love vocals yes.
