My grandson will be going to Jiu Jitsu and Wing Chung lessons. Thankfully, I have a friend who teaches Wing Chung and has said he should start attending lessons at four. And he will.
These arts teach children respect, control, resilience, and toughen them up for the harsh realities of the wider world.
He may transfer to other arts, but he will be taught how to defend himself and those around him.

Damn that is young! The Wushu lessons I went to was actually limited to nine years old but I got in when my Mother asked them about it when I was seven (was the bullied kid back then).

That is sort of what my other niece is doing. (the older sister of the one that got indoctrinated). Sheâs on her 3rd book now I believe. (those books arenât that good imho, but itâs her coping mechanism)
Quite the opposite actually. Things are faily high paced in our job with lots of colourful people you get to meet along the way. I donât really spend much time outside the office these days, but in a previous job as a Marine Surveyor I was constantly on the move visiting terminals, barges, seavessel etc. You really broaden your view on the world and learn to put things in perspective. Iâm sure that that was a big contributor to my mental fortitude. Especially because Iâm actually pretty shy but deliberately putting myself with my back against the wall helps me with that.
Itâs something you see more and more it feels like. People who have mental breakdowns or arenât able to properly interact anymore because they are terminally online and/or have a very narrow view of the world around them.
Go outside, touch grass, get punched in the face, punch others in the face, learn your place in the world. People are starting to forget this.

Kid before him (4or 5 yo) got halfway up then panicked and was saying oh no in Japanese. Kai went right up and was unintentionally mocking the boy who backed out. Daddy knows that Kai cried 6 months ago 
Heâs 2 years and almost 7 months. Good hand eye coordination and way way too much confidence
Made Chicken Parmesan again because Kai wanted to try it
He enjoyed the part that made it into his mouth which was very little. He has no shirt because he trashed it with marinara and wonât wear a bib anymore. Rice is much neater but he loves the pasta

Agree that most have forgotten the basics sadly. And itâs scary and wild how short the attention span is nowadays. Thatâs a huge contributing factor imo.

so Monarch iv is a very nice set and it might be I will actually keep it. itâs similar to my Terra with Terra pushing vocals just a bit more forward as I like it but both are really nice.
I also got Cadenza 4 for like 130 EUR and for that money it is pretty insane. still curious about Mystic 8

Alright, I got tired of coping and decided to buy the EliteNoir with its initial hardware lol. As it was honestly a contributing factor in my decision to get the Origin. I just find the pairing extremely beautiful, the best match Iâve seen to date. So it was such a perfect storm of all aspects, the true endgame.
So got it during Aliexpress summer sale with some good coupons. Tried Linsoul direct with their RC, but they charge outrageous shipping to my location, more than the order amount lmao.
So as I thought, the cable itself is identical. Different hardware and earhook wraps.
Comes nicely packaged:
Earhooks are thicker, different wrap material. Noticeably bulkier on the ears and donât âdisappearâ for me like these other ones do, but still are pretty comfortable. Look better for sure, but function worse imo. The connectors themselves are the same length, despite the black one looking longer:
The Y split is super tiny on the Originâs new stock cable, no chin slider though. The swappable termination is thinner on the EliteNoir, but same length.
However (!), it holds much better on the custom one, while EliteNoirâs detaches very easily.
The piece towards the termination on the custom one is purely for the purpose of putting a brand there. I thought it was a strain relief too, or something to prevent kinking, but it behaves identically to the EliteNoir which doesnât have this:
Overall, the EliteNoir was definitely developed for the Origin, and pairs extremely well with it in my opinion. But when Valhalla came out, it probably didnât feel right to them to keep shipping the half the price Origin with the same cable. So they chose the current route instead of designing something for Valhalla.
Itâs still basically the same cable though. The custom one functions better, EliteNoir looks better.
Iâm happy to have both though hehe, my nicest and comfiest by far. The cope is finally gone
