Bad Guy Good Audio Reviews (A Million views?) Part 3/4

Wow! Climbed not just the mountain, but the limits of the self. What a blessed powerful moment that’s a moment of pure grit, glory, and wild freedom. Respect to the climb, the cold, and the courage!!!

I recognise the hill in the photo, possibly the most recognisable hill on the way up to argyll and a classic for climbing, I know exactly where you are on the shores of Loch L*** (I won’t mention “exactly” where you are."

And I know the exact farm shop where you bought that sausage, been to the oyster bar yet?

That place is high up on the Mrs list, but not mine. And because it isn’t dog friendly, I don’t think it’ll make the cut…

But yeh, it’s a wonderful place. The weather is perfect. Well, perfect for a more relaxing holiday. Usually, I’d want it to be -5°C down here and white up top. But that’s a very different type of holiday.

Couple hours in that little pool in blazing Sun absolutely puts him into nap mode. I burn calories too/

Although I can imagine one will appreciate the :tumbler_glass: after a successful decent as well. That’s an impressive and awe inspiring sight!

Seeing that you’re well on your way to 100 days, I figured this Euro classic would be appropriate:

I’m totally married to this 365 day badge thing…100 is the 1st road sign.

Just saw an Ai audio video on YT

tumblr_mic3un04ft1rti4kro1_250

My $3500 Brise audio cable has nylon and horrible microphonics.
Ai is wroooong

Also wanted to use Henry Rollins gif just because

At least Google let’s you check the sources their AI has used when you search for something on their homepage. I’ve started to check just because and about 5/10 times the claim Gemini makes is based on a misinterpretation of a source. Most people won’t do that of course and with a YOuTube vid it becomes even more problematic to do so.

Wanna give a big shout out to Andrew at Musicteck
Been his customer for many many years and spent way too much.
Got a lot of good deals along the way.
This DHL event was just a disaster.
It’s in Cinncy and DHL said it could take up to 30 days before they send back to Andrew who would then re ship to Japan.

I tapped out.
That would be near 2 months from order to delivery for an instock item.

Andrew obliged a cancellation. I wasn’t simply cancelling, I found a brand new one in Japan.

Side note, aside from N30LE (which is limited), the N8ii is the hardest DAP ever to find used or in stock. Ibasso, A&K, Other Cayin…easy.
N8ii??
Surprisingly hard/impossible

N8ii no problems over here…

Tsunami warning pacific area

I hope everyone in the affected area’s evacuated if so instructed and are safe by now. 8.8 quakes are no joke.

That doesn’t do me any good.
I just got out of a 2 month process potentially buying from abroad

The Japanese market particularly the 2nd hand one is a great reflection of consumer satisfaction

The Campfire Audio 3DD set was flooding the 2nd hand market 2 weeks after it was released
Several audio gears over the years that Headfi gasses get rebuked on J market and unlike Headfi no simps will tell anyone “this is normal “

If you are part of the market for long enough you know when something is happening

CFA (several sets)
Ibasso DX 120? the one with dead neutral and few updates that borked the device repeatedly
Senn ie900
Sony M9

All had massive sell offs that were notable and dropped the resale value and were hard to sell

Cayin N8ii was nowhere over here

That’s in horrible condition and it’s the only one for a while Fujiya avic, Bic, e-earphones, Yahoo Yahoo auctions and Mecari had nothing

I was talking about the local market

In this wild tariff time and DHL melt down I’m buying locally when I can :+1:

Got a wave of Critical on Crin posts I deleted moreso because it was a series of comments unlike 99% of everything prior.
We have talked about messaging and narrative control.
Not sure who is behind it but several mentioned Hifigo sets as better options.

Blocked all of them.
I don’t have time to parent adult strangers and bots on the internet

EDIT: didn’t ban that Dusk guy cuz that’s a subjective opinion. The other folks. (9) are gone and can bitch/simp/cope in another channels comment section.

Mount Cairne Gorm, 1245 m, sixth highest peak in the U.K… Though, it’s one of the easier peaks in the Cairngorm range, in my opinion. Makes for a good photo though.

Coire an t-Sneachda, the snowy corrie pictured below, is where the real fun is there. There’s so many mixed/ice climbs. Months of fun in that corrie alone!

Wild that these kinda comments pops up everywhere recently. Subjectively not liking a set is one thing, but pushing a narrative like this is just weird.

Looking forward to upcoming Crins iems. He got Reference lined up for this year and already have a few others up possibly for next year

Wouldn’t put it past them. It’s interesting that they are the only large retailer that are not selling them atm.
Must be a coincidence right? Right?!

They are going to return it to the seller instead of having it be on its way and that’ll take nearly a month?! I have no adjectives left for describing that… Something atrocious must have happened to it. But good to know that some online retailers take responsibility even if the situation isn’t of their making.

Since a lot of sets are close to my target :dart:

This makes a lot of sense
