If you have any ‘sets’ around, Final Audio Type E tips (when bought as sets of a single size or in a multi-pack) have adapters to fit tips onto nozzles like Shure used.
Love the Cairngorms, Spent months every year up there and done 1000’s+miles as I used to work as a mtb guide/skills coach and knew the area just as well as my own area down here in Galloway.
My mate up there owns Bothy Bikes (David) and as he used to be in one of the most seminal Scottish indie bands as their guitarist I feel it’s apt to post one of their songs for everyone’s perusal, it’s worth checking out their music.
I got a refund from Andrew /Musicteck after they had dialogue with DHL about the package.
Now it’s in Japan despite what they told Musicteck.
Japan DHL told me 3 days ago that a return to sender notice was in the system…while it was still at DHL’s hub in Cincinnati
I imagine Musicteck is like YO!! WTF kinda services are we paying for?
for the Ric Flair gif alone. That guy was a promo machine. As for the DHL debacle: it’s sobering (and worrying) that something that expensive can apparently fall off the track and trace radar whilst still making it to its destination…
I, too, have fallen victim to the shipping curse. Managed to pick up one the literally handful of the Yu( Audio Ques that Elise received last week. Was promptly shipped out via Royal Mail on Monday in the afternoon to The Netherlands, arrived at the customs depot of the Dutch Postal Service (i.e. the Royal Mail analogue) on Tuesday in the afternoon. And has been sitting there ever since. I reached out to them and they confirmed it’s there. They are waiting for customs to provide the necessary info for calculating VAT/duties (the latter being zero luckily enough for head/earphones). It’s a separate division so they are unable to do anything about it. I mean, seriously? Not as bad as the Cayin situation of course but still grating, knowing it is less than an hour’s drive by car from here…
I worry abot the world.
It’s clearly filled with fucking dipshits
That DHL is forwarding to final spot before delivery with one more chance for intercept.
Musicteck refunded me based on DHL promises.
I might have to just ship it back after all this crap.
The VAT in Europe is crazy. I have had people buy stuff from me and they/I get gouged in the process.
Fixed the fight club gif to have Brad looking up at the Perfect July badge.
My Son’s sleeping so I had 5 minutes to troll morbidly obese slobs.
(Put that burger down buddy!!)
Folks who fuck up the daily paperwork that goes with everything should be fired. How hard is it for folks to do their god damn jobs?
I’m not easy to please but if you just do your job you will never hear a peep outta me.
But…it’s all the time. Hope you get sorted out soon
Depending on where you are it can be 21% (over here) or worse, so that is definitely gouging. The irony of it all is that this never happened with IEMs I ordered from outside the EU… That’s 5 minutes well spent I reckon
Edit: thanks! As long as it ain’t damaged it’ll be alright Unfortunately, doing one’s job in our times is apparently no longer a requirement. That’s why I was so pleasantly surprised to learn that the Japanse Postal Service even operates on Sundays.
Taxes are the “price we pay for a civilised society” (Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr.). Hmm!!!
VAT in the UK started at 10% in 1973, went down to 8% '74 - '79, then up to 15% '79 -'92, up to 17.5% '92 - '09, down to 15% '09 - '10, back up to 17.5% '10 - '11, then up to its current level of 20% for the last 14 years. It accounts for 20% of the government’s revenue.
Thieving bastards.
