Apparently, the thread has been reset to earlier today to get rid of the spammers… First time that has happened :exploding_head:

Highly recommend this program if you have local music files if you want lyrics (synced or not) and it is very easy just add the music folder and click scan and let it work.

And on the fitness/workout front: Apple dropped the new Ultra 3 watch that can detect hypertension but doesn’t actually measure your BP. It’s apparently a software based feature that will also come to the Ultra 2 via updates.

Sorry folks but the bot/spam Tom Fuckery needed to be hit hard and that’s why a lot of IP addresses were locked including my MacBook…Hopefully now you can all log back in. Further security measures are on their way :crossed_fingers:

No worries, better safe than sorry. Time to send the bots to HeadFi instead

@hawaiibadboy When you tune an IEM, what you take care of first? Since there are so many variables into action like how the coupling changes from ear to ear, what is missing in the current market.

I get that since you have so much experience that it might come naturally what will work and what not, but do you always start with the tuning in mind ? Or just you want to fill a gap in the market, or catering to a certain genre or collection of instruments like Acoustic.

I got a little project of tuning a Planar Magtenic headphone for showcase only from a very small company in China. And I am confused, should I consider research or not, how would I handle HpTF and Leakage, should I consider market sentiment above all and what not.

Just a hit and trial project but, it is introducing me to the world of tuning a unpublished headphone. Feeling a bit overwhelming.

Plays back my library well. The music mentioned in my videos is the “playlist “
My prior recs or non recs should line up with my collab Linsoul recently asked me to pick ANY company to work with that they sell. Thie, anything.

Punch Audio is what my audience would expect and they would be correct. Beryllium incoming :musical_notes:

Ignore the market. Use music :musical_notes: and your personal preference because you can unapologetically speak with your chest . if the company tries to make you accept anything besides your goal walk away and tell everyone you did so. Their logistics and planning are not your concern. They get 90% of the profits so make them do the work ( hit your target :bullseye: ).

The way you promote, the talking points and all that comes after is what you want to do/ think is best or agree to . Sign a contract and ask for an excel spreadsheet with shops and region specific sales numbers on an agreed upon date every month .

Good luck :crossed_fingers:

Didn’t see the fight so initially, even with the gifs, wondered what the cinematic part was. then I read this nugget: ‘The fact I’m here makes me a winner. I take risks and that’s what I did.’ Totally get it now.

Thanks for the tips.

It’s a really small project for 50/60 people, but quite an opportunity for me to share my understanding.

Ofcourse you’re a big name and you have the confidence, but have you ever felt like tuning something out of your choice because most people prefer differently than you ?
