You can try plugging the rca output from your Zen directly to the SUB8. Then, you adjust the volume and the crossover freq until you feel it hits the right spot. Sometimes if the crossover is too high, the sub will be noticable since they usually sounds slower than the headphone. So, it’s a little bit of trial and error. I would also suggest to put the Zen in the fixed mode. Hopefully you’ll like the experience.
