Since Haywyre is my favourite artist, I can’t not have each and every one of my test tracks made by him. So here’s the one I use for bass testing:

Sadly, the quality on this video is a$$ and this album of his is no longer available to listen to on Spotify, but last time I checked, it was still up on his Bandcamp, it’s name your price too, so you can have it for free if you want. I recommend you support him instead though!

Once when I was younger, I had 2 15" woofers in my trunk. I had a this double CD called “Bass Trip” that was crazy. And very techno but this dj called Frankie Bones had a couple of these low low low sounding vibes. The trunk line used to raise 3" when the bass was pushing!!

I really like this song, LD! my Senn HD599se’s did them the best…much livelier than my HP-50’s or my 4xx, which outclassed the 50’s.

Yup, my HD58Xs also do great sub-bass, which I even thought was impossible for open-backs. I still need my closed-backs for that “punch” though.

So this may not be electronic, but I have never heard any sub bass more powerful and amazing than in this song. You are just listening to it, and then all of the sudden everything stops and sub bass comes in. Skip ahead to 3:21. I have yet to hear anything that beats this for bass.

I’m not sure if I linked IFTK by decaf, but I definitely did post his White Clouds. that’s one of my go-to’s for bass testing.
