Beautiful by design. (industrial design in Audio components)

This is the most beautiful industrial design piece I’ve ever owned. It was exquisite in precision. Nothing extra nothing wasted. It was solid. I sold it (for a small profit) when I discovered DX340 and IEMs.

This is such a subjective thing. Personally, I think this is ugly AF and I wouldn’t have it in my home. Others probably think it’s absolutely stunning. Just goes to show that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder!

HAHA! Sort of cartoonish, but somehow it works. I would lose the chandelier.

Those speakers are a betrayal of an otherwise glorious room.

I am a huge fan of sci-fi (written, film, and art) and liked the photo for that reason. That and I would think the system sounds amazing. But there is just something about speakers with a gorgeous wood finish or in black that helps them visually “disappear". Same for components: I may be boring but prefer them in black/mat black generally. Anyone else? Great system nonetheless :+1:

Those speakers are droid like for sure :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Maybe with a different and full acoustically damped wall, sitting in your living room in your favourite armchair with minimal lighting it might be passable :man_shrugging:

Absolutely! And you are right, in a muted room I bet they would look amazing. Create a room and treatment that showcases the equipment visually (as well as acoustically of course) and I would probably feel much different. Great point!
