what’s your favorite 1/4 adapter? i know it’s lame to talk about but they’re technically quite crucial to a good listening experience. has some trouble with my Cable Matters adapters so i looked at some other options. here’s what i discovered and now i never have to worry about adapters lol. let me know your favorite adapters!

I actually got those a few weeks ago. They are fine. They don’t work on some trrrs cables, which isn’t a big deal, unless that is the only cable you have. In my case it was an IEM with an inline mic. Not a big deal as I could swap cables, but other adapters work fine with it.
but wouldn’t trrrs need a special adapter? this aurum wouldn’t work for that. only has left right and ground
Yes trrrs would need to be wired differently.

All I’m saying is that other adapters work for TRRS. The ground contact is probably at a different spot. Otherwise L/R should are the same contacts points.
Edit: I meant TRRS (not trrrs)

I mostly swap whatever cable is not the right one.
Will keep the adapters in mind though.
Note: When I plug my headphones into my secondary computer, which has a locking 1/4 jack in the front, I would prefer if the 3/8 was not too tight, because that Neutrik jack is not going anywhere.
