Best Bluetooth Speaker, Guide To Choose

I researched about the best Bluetooth speaker for the past few days because I need one for home use, outdoor gatherings, and occasional travel. I read reviews on the New York Times (Wirecutter), Consumer Reports, and Popular Mechanics, and they are marking these two as best:

JBL PartyBox Stage 320 - Portable Party Speaker

Bose SoundLink Max Portable Speaker, Large IP67 Waterproof Bluetooth Speaker

However, I am having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and need your expert advice. I’m looking for strong bass, clear sound at higher volumes, good battery life, and water resistance. I’ll mostly use it in the living room, kitchen, backyard, and occasionally take it to the beach or on trips.

So which one should I buy? Any recommendations or experience with either of these would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So generally, with a bigger speaker (enclosure) you will be able to get both a louder (more gain) and also more sub-bass extension (closer to 20hz). With that in mind, this graph looks correct in that it follows that as the JBL is MUUUUUUCH bigger.

And with bigger speakers they generally use need more power (wattage) to utilize the bigger space and in turn you should be able to get a higher max volume with it. So sound wise that JBL should win.

I dunno about the rest but these reviews do bring those other stuff up.
