I listen to a lot of audiobooks and Big Finish Audio plays. These are my own files, and getting them to work well with my iPhone, is getting to be a hassle. I am looking at a separate solution. I am thinking about either a Fiio M6 or an LG V30 (both $130, Amazon Renewed). I realize that they are two very different devices - but at a similar price, they represent the newest technology and great form factor (M6) versus a full Android device. I am open to other options, but I don’t really want to spend more than $200 if I can avoid it.
Since, this is primarily for audiobooks, I need the DAP to be able to store where I am on a file since a lot of tracks are well over an hour long. I also would like a well organized and easy to use player App.
Any suggestions would be awesome!
