K240’s are a pretty Excellent can for classic rock but can be a bit power hungry at times.

True… they did improve with an amp… they’re barely mentioned so I guess I’m just putting their name in the hat

Philips SHP9500 or Audio Technica ATH-M40X.

I have the sivga 006 and can vouch that it’s a really good deal for 100. There’s very little sound leakage but it doesn’t sound muffled like some other affordable closed backs. It’s very comfortable too. It’s good bang for the buck, not particularly amazing but I don’t know if anything for that price is.

dont the M40X also need to have a pad change which raises the price

~125 and get the 1 more, unless issues with the comfort, soundwise they are worth!
