Best headphones for Deftones?
Which headphones gave you the most intense, hypnotic experience?

Hifiman Sundara since the treble peak is fun but refined. Beyerdynamic DT900 would be good if you don’t have an amplifier.
Between Sundara and DT900, which one would you say is more suitable for an immersive, emotionally engaging Deftones listening experience?
My priority is not analytical detail, but a sound that still feels grounded and physical — especially in guitars and vocals, rather than something too light or detached.
Which of the two would you personally choose for that kind of presentation?

Around 500€ total, including a DAC/amp if needed.
I would absolutely NOT take the sundara for deftones (or any other rock/metal tracks), it is way too bright and lacks way too much bass.
That’s exactly the kind of contrast I’m trying to achieve — the physical impact of the downtuned riffs, but also the dreamy, atmospheric and almost hypnotic side of Deftones.
What headphones around this price range (500€ total) do you think actually deliver that combination of slam and immersive atmosphere the best?
I dont know Im not in the hp world that much, just not the Sundara (I have it) that is not a good match at all for this. You need something a lot bassier and especially mid-bass. I honestly take the Koss KPH30i over the Sundara for this.
