Yeah the KPH30i are great if you super treble-sensitive. I am not as much so I prefer the KSC75, better technicalities and imaging etc., but the 30i are probably a more fun sound signature for most people.
Interesting about the Guideray though. Most people I talk to say the treble is quite smooth. Although you may have sensitivities in certain areas where they peak, or just treble sensitivity overall.

If you want a wonderful and laied back sounding you should definitely have a look at all the Jerry Harvey IEMs. Especially the Billie Jeans could be a good match.
You should also have a look at the ifi Audio DACs. These DACs use nice sounding Burr Brown Chips and there tuning is so laied back and smooth that it is just wonderful.
I think a HIP DAC with the Astell&Kern Jerry Harvey Billie Jeans could be perfect.
