Best IEMs for Orchestral music

I need recommendations for IEMs for large orchestral & film music recordings. Also wind band. My Klipsch R6 earbuds died after 9 years. Considering Etymotic ER4XR & planar IEMs so far. Budget is around $150 to $300. I’d like a good soundstage, mostly neutral presentation & great instrument separation with a bit of warmth. Thx👍

If you do not need isolation, you should consider flathead earbuds instead as they will shine in these genres.

Otherwise I would not recommend the Etymotics nor planar iems, have a look at single DDs as they have the most natural timbre usually which is a high priority for these genres. I am not up to date with what is the current rec here though but the Simgot EW200 is the value champion unless there is a new one.

I have owned most types of Etymotics and the ER2 are my favorites. On paper its tempting with the XR both distorsion are a bit high and the none XR are better in the long run in my opinion.

I would highly differ from this.

Due to no proper sealing or consistent Coupling the acoustic output impedance is high, which not only causes abnormalities in the low-end but also takes a huge effect on the Timbre.

I do agree that some of the “Openness” (Not soundstage) gets well with the energy in the midrange but, that’s highly subjective.
