Hi guys,
I do a lot of mixing but I also enjoy casual listening during my free time, i was thinking instead of buying one new pair of headphones for mixing and one for casual listening, should i use sonarworks instead?
this way i can swtich it on and off depending on what I am doing.
Does anybody do that already? how well sonarworks correct them? please share your experience!
Thank you
Are you referring to the discontinued True-Fi, its subscription-based replacement, or the studio tool, Reference 4?
Am referring to the studio tool the one which you can also use in the daw.
Sonarworks won’t transform a headphone from my experience, it will just tilt the headphone more towards their neutral reference curve, so it’s a bit better for a more neutral response in their eyes. I don’t think sonarworks will replace having another headphone, but it will improve what you have for studio use imo
