Hello everyone, I have been doing research on the Schitt Magni and Modi. I have heard some things about internal changes between the two options. Is this true? If so, what are the differences. Thanks in advance!
The Modi is a DAC. 3+ is current version which introduced Unison USB. Haven’t heard much about sonic comparisons between it and the 3.
Magni is an amp. Currently a two-pronged attack with 3+ and Heresy. Heresy is the black/red motif.
Schiit build Heresy to achieve high rankings in the “numbers” game, while they silently tell you they prefer the sonics of their traditional 3+ design.
